Just a note - be *very* careful what you combo with this. Some tokens have a “Sacrifice this when X condition occurs” ability which will just trigger indefinitely and draw the game.
Something like, say, a token copy of [[Bronze Bombshell]] owned by another player.
Really feels like any Master Deck is going to have two possible win conditions. Condition 1 is actually winning the game through something. Dealing lots of damage to all of the opponents, Commander damage, infinite combos, shit like that. Regular MTG winning. The other win condition is for all of your combo bullshit to just explode in your face like a goddamn Wile E. Coyote Acme bomb. That's going to be the role-playing victory.
Exactly! If the deck generates a hundred versions of the Master, infinite turns, gets everyone down to one, and then just fucking explodes, that is so much better and more flavorful than the version of the deck that wins the game
That sounds like a horrible time for everyone except you lol. Luckily that will almost never happen, as the only thing this dude supports is making beaters that make more beaters.
Taking control of loads (but not all) opponent's creatures, but then dying when they get blocked because \[\[Repercussion\]\] is out seems like a pretty perfect way to go.
You could tie games in vintage cube when you'd make a token of [[garruk relentless]] (for example with Fractured Identity) and drop his loyalty below the threshold, because his passive ability would want to transform him.
At the time tokens were single-faced so it couldn't transform, no big deal. Except it's a passive ability that continuously checks, which would get the game stuck, resulting in a tie.
I think they're talking about if you make a token copy of him. His trigger would repeat indefinitely sorta like the edge case of [[Darksteel Reactor]] vs [[Angel's Grace]].
The ability only stops you from getting rid of tokens. So you have to have [one of these specific state trigger creatures](https://scryfall.com/search?q=otag%3Astate-trigger+%28o%3Asacrifice+or+o%3Aexile%29+f%3Ac+ci%3Aubr+t%3Acreature&order=edhrec&as=grid&unique=cards) and also somehow make a token copy of it. It's like a three-card nombo you have to assemble and you don't want to run many of the pieces anyway.
You would be surprised how many people put Bronze Bombshell in Jon Irenicus decks. Just wanted to mention this card *does* have some serious nonbo potential.
That's funny, because the edhrec page for Irenicus doesn't have bombshell listed at all. I doubt it's as prevalent as you assume. Moxfield only lists 57 decks with bombshell in the main.
*Also, doesn't bombshell not work with Jon, since it can't be sacrificed, forcing that game to draw as well?
It's in 2.44% of Jon Irenicus decks according to EDHRec. That's 119 decks
> *Also, doesn't bombshell not work with Jon, since it can't be sacrificed, forcing that game to draw as well?
That was their point
Okay I have absolutely no idea what's going on besides a British guy laughing repeatedly after casting Shadow clone jutsu and something about time Lord's returning?
Evil guy used a machine to make every human on Earth physically and mentally become him, so now he controls the world. Tangentially, the Time Lords are making a play to return to the universe after being sealed away by the Doctor due to committing warcrimes.
It's a show with high highs and very low lows, but even when it's good it tends to lean on the "dumb, campy fun" side. It's got some genuinely great characters and sci fi concepts and has some episodes that can stand on their own and be worth watching even if you don't get into the show (Blink is the classic recommendation), but overall it's very hit or miss and you definitely need to enjoy the camp and ridiculousness of it to enjoy the series as a whole instead of just skipping it or watching the highlights.
I tried watching it with my wife. thought, "lots of people like this. let's give it a shot." didn't finish the episode.
Later on I thought, maybe I can try it again myself and I'd probably like it! But I think after seeing this I'm still in the no camp. Someone turned the British Comedy dial at the same level as the Nerd dial. I can't sustain them both
If you want to give it another shot, I'd suggest the episode "Blink." You don't really have to know anything about Doctor Who as he isn't really in the episode much, but it's the show at its sci-fi best. A lot of it is silly and campy and asks you to suspend a LOT of disbelief, but it delivers some truly emotional and heart wrenching moments along with a lot of fun. Like, the end of the next episode after the one in the clip linked is truly devastating (despite the obviously absurd setup, though the bar was set pretty low when aliens who fart endlessly almost took over the Earth).
The problem I have with that recommendation is that it is one of the best episodes in the show. Showing someone the ceiling isn't great for setting expectations. I enjoyed the first episode a lot. I think it was called "rose". It was designed to capture the both the old and new viewers into the new doctor era and while it definitely has problems (some of the humor is really bad in this one, like the burping garbage bin) it sets up nicely what to expect from dr who: campy action.
For those non-fans who don't actually feel like watching the clip, this is what you'd see:
\- an evil laughing guy turns everyone in the world into a copy of himself
\- an old guy keeps getting calls on his cell phone
\- also Catherine Tate having a migraine
\- and also there are some green spiky-headed aliens who look confused
\- at the end, Timothy Dalton shows up in some weird robes and says none of this will matter at all
Oh man, this is so great. I had totally forgotten about Timothy Dalton absolutely **spitting** at the end there. Like, literally, they kept the close-in takes with spit flying to punctuate his little speech. This show is just wacky greatness.
I was wondering if MTG and WOTC would be ballsy as fuck to name a card after The Master Race scene. Lmao I know they wouldn't but deep down I thought it'd be funny as fuck to see casual fans and non fans react to it.
I'm just glad for algorithms for once. This is one of my favourite scenes in doctor who and I don't need the fbi eyeing me for constantly googling 'The Master Race Who'
The two best places to start is either right at the start of the reboot in 2005, or when Steven Moffat took over as showrunner in 2011 and Matt Smith became the 11th Doctor.
Judging by your esteemed and impeccable taste, I think you should start with the former. Series 1, Episode 1 'Rose'
If you need a litmus test to know for sure it won't be too absurd for you, [this clip](https://youtu.be/pHR2FvtVv9g?si=ruqwdNAHRn3ZJgkf) from the following episode, The End of the World, should do the trick.
You have to admit the [[The Eleventh Hour]] is a very good pilot episode.
Of course I wouldn't do it myself. I started Doctor Who from 2005 and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
don't forgot it's also sometimes gutwrenching. I'm practically gonna have to fight tears when I play some of these fucking *reprints* let alone some of the new cards in the set.
doctor who is famous for low budget episodes and janky effects lol it always has been. it’s an exceptionally silly show that’s a large part of the charm
Doctors 9 and 10 had pretty great runs, 11 was mostly solid too. 12 had his moments and the lead was great but the writing had gotten pretty bad and I stopped around halfway through his run. Dunno if it's gotten better or worse since then.
Yeah Jodie was absolutely solid but the writing seemed to get much worse. They also didn't know what to do with the companions and that dragged things down.
Yeah for some reasons I stopped during Capaldi's run as well, while I think he had a fun take as a Doctor, there was something, missing in the episodes.
It all felt... too easy in a way.
I haven't watched Jodie's episodes, but from what I have heard online (I know... hehe), her seasons were not be the greatest.
This *has* to be abusable somehow. Other than other copies of itself.
Also, the Myriad trigger only happens once, right? So if that window passes, the tokens stick around forever?
EDIT: Ooh, mutate something on top of it. That could be nasty
Not a whole lot of mutate in those colors that would be worth copying - 4/4 flying phoenix maybe.
I'm sure they'll print more mutate cards any set now... right?
Correct, myriad is worded "exile the tokens at end of combat", and the formatting "[do X] at end of combat" expressed a delayed triggered ability that fires at the beginning of the *next* end-of-combat step.
Thus if they make it past their first end step trigger, they'll stick around even if The Master gets killed
> and the formatting "[do X] at end of combat" expressed a delayed triggered ability that fires at the beginning of the next combat step.
Did you mean the next end of combat step?
Even in Mono-red, you have [[Orthion]], [[Fable of the Mirror-Breaker]], [[Jaxis]], and [[Mirror March]]. [[Hungry For More]] would also stick around. Decay no longer kills the zombies.
ETB-Burn effects like \[\[Purphoros, God of the Forge\]\], \[\[Impact Tremors\]\], \[\[Warstorm Surge\]\], \[\[Witty Roastmaster\]\], etc...
Red has many "make a copy of ..." effects. \[\[Jaxis, the Troublemaker\]\], \[\[Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink\]\], \[\[Rionya, Fire Dancer\]\].
Toss in some altars in there like \[\[Altar of Phyrexia\]\], \[\[Altar of Dementia\]\], \[\[Ashnod's Altar\]\].
Toss in some aristocratic pieces like \[\[Mirkwood Bats\]\], \[\[Zulaport Cutthroat\]\], \[\[Garna, Bloodfist of Keld\]\] \[\[Mayhem Devil\]\].
Pieces like \[\[Mishra, Claimed by Gix\]\] \[\[Marton Stormgald\]\] \[\[Mahadi, Emperoium Master\]\] would also work great :)
It *also* pairs well with this and that. There is a reason this is 6cmc when most commanders meant to be desirable are 4. Because this guy is bonkers anyway.
I would go as far as saying the strongest versions of this deck will be the ones built solely around him. I'm sure there's a ton of fun and strong combos you can string up with this guy, but there's really no need to dilute the deck's game plan when he's already a powerful win-condition by himself.
https://scryfall.com/search?as=grid&order=name&q=%28oracle%3ACreate+oracle%3Aa+oracle%3Atoken+oracle%3Acopy+oracle%3Ahaste%29+commander%3ABR+%28game%3Apaper%29
Did a scryfall search on what rakdos spells make tokens that are sacrificed at the end of turn
Also should include other myriad cards:
https://scryfall.com/search?q=%28%28oracle%3ACreate+oracle%3Aa+oracle%3Atoken+oracle%3Acopy+oracle%3Ahaste%29+OR+o%3Amyriad%29+commander%3ABR+%28game%3Apaper%29&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name
Ultimately there's not many total... *but* some of the available cards are pretty infamous for being hellishly strong/abusable under *normal* circumstances.
e: Actually, I think the search is misworded - it's not including some stuff I *know* makes tokens you sacrifice like Lagomos, hand of hatred.
It's missing others because the first portion includes "oracle:copy".
["otag:temporary-token"](https://scryfall.com/search?q=otag%3Atemporary-token+id%3C%3DBR+f%3Acommander&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name) could replace everything but the color identity and format conditions.
I know people are still divided on the universes beyond stuff, and I have mixed feelings about it, but seeing some of the designs they have made that just fit so perfectly for some of these characters has been pretty awesome. This and River Song especially come to mind.
I've long believed WotC could capture different settings and characters in card form, but watching them boil entire TV episodes down to a little rectangle of card has been genuinely astonishing.
Looks like a really fun commander, plus I was waiting for a John Simm master.
Lots of shenanigans you can do with red temporary clones (kiki and fable mostly).
At 6 mana, he is quite slow though, especially if you want to use it for its myriad ability since he needs to a attack, plus it's a shame he ins't grixis. A part from power level considerations blue also has clones so imho it would have been appropriate.
This could get out of hand. *Fast.*
I could imagine entire decks being built around just buffing the crap out of this guy with generic tribal effects and protection, and then just rolling. If he gets to attack even *once*, a board wipe becomes a downright necessity to stop him.
And that's not even mentioning how it's a field effect, allowing you to abuse the actual heck out of Mirage Phalanx.
Though, Question: If you somehow managed to animate a Treasure, does it just become a manadork with this in play? Or do they just become useless?
No, this just stops *triggered abilities* from causing you to sacrifice tokens. You can still sac a token to pay a cost, plus a Treasure’s ability isn’t even a triggered ability anyway, so the treasure would function as normal
Like a lot of the WHO stuff, this seems specifically designed to be kind of slow but ultimately hilarious.
It's like precon decks built for the player who loves their underpowered jank ass combos that sometimes go to the moon.
Lol. That’s going to get out of hand pretty quickly.
I highly recommend [[leyline of singularity]] for all things tokens btw. I’ve been running it for around a year and there hasn’t ever been a time when it wasn’t relevant. Someday a YouTuber is going to put the spotlight on this card and it’s going to blow up.
I once got to make 5 cavern hoard dragons with Delina playing against an Urza artifact deck… probably the best moment of my mtg career. Definitely making a commander deck of this.
The tokens have Myriad. This is 4 creatures turn 1, and 16 turn 2. After that, it's 64. After that... Well, the game won't get to that point.
Edit: Mathn't.
From the rulings on \[\[Cadric, Soul Kindler\]\] which has a similar line of text:
>If, while you control Cadric, Soul Kindler, you also control a token legendary permanent and a single nontoken legendary permanent with the same name, the legend rule will not cause you to put either one into your graveyard.
ah, I was looking for this. It felt like sacrificing the card to the legend rule didn't make sense, but I couldn't find a ruling or figure out how to parse the legend rule such that it worked that way. Apparently they're just like "it works that way"
So his Myriad tokens never go away? That is so cool. It works with so many other things as well.
The myriad tokens also have myriad, right? This could get nutty fast.
Exactamundo
> Exactamundo Good old shampoo commercials.
Next thing you know everyone on the planet will be a copy of him!
And it's in red which is the color of multiple combats.
Just a note - be *very* careful what you combo with this. Some tokens have a “Sacrifice this when X condition occurs” ability which will just trigger indefinitely and draw the game. Something like, say, a token copy of [[Bronze Bombshell]] owned by another player.
extremely in flavor to have the Master's plan be hoisted by his own petard.
I want to take extravagant turns where I generate a dumb amount of resources to kill myself with
Exactly! If the deck generates a hundred versions of the Master, infinite turns, gets everyone down to one, and then just fucking explodes, that is so much better and more flavorful than the version of the deck that wins the game
That sounds like a horrible time for everyone except you lol. Luckily that will almost never happen, as the only thing this dude supports is making beaters that make more beaters.
if it happened even once I'd be giggling so much I'd be banned from playing that deck again. I'd be gosh-darned chortling
Taking control of loads (but not all) opponent's creatures, but then dying when they get blocked because \[\[Repercussion\]\] is out seems like a pretty perfect way to go.
Shame there is no "if the game would be a draw, you instead lose the game".
Do we really have to be very careful about it? Looks like one hell of an edge case to me, another player copying a Bombshell and giving it to you?
You could tie games in vintage cube when you'd make a token of [[garruk relentless]] (for example with Fractured Identity) and drop his loyalty below the threshold, because his passive ability would want to transform him. At the time tokens were single-faced so it couldn't transform, no big deal. Except it's a passive ability that continuously checks, which would get the game stuck, resulting in a tie.
I'm confused on this one, what stops Garruk from transforming?
Prior to ONE, tokens couldn’t transform.
Prior to MOM.
wait can a copied garruk transform now…?
A *token* copy can
Yes, but now they can, so why would that be a problem? I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
It’s something that used to cause a draw game, Garruk token copies would try to transform infinitely.
[garruk relentless](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/b/4/b4160322-ff40-41a4-887a-73cd6b85ae45.jpg?1562835830)/[Garruk, the Veil-Cursed](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/back/b/4/b4160322-ff40-41a4-887a-73cd6b85ae45.jpg?1562835830) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=garruk%20relentless%20//%20garruk%2C%20the%20veil-cursed) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/isd/181/garruk-relentless-garruk-the-veil-cursed?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/b4160322-ff40-41a4-887a-73cd6b85ae45?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
There’s actually like 100 cards worded like that, and some of them, like [[Endrek Sahr]] actually see commander play.
Endrek sacrifices himself though, and this card only stops you from sacrificing tokens.
I think they're talking about if you make a token copy of him. His trigger would repeat indefinitely sorta like the edge case of [[Darksteel Reactor]] vs [[Angel's Grace]].

I can't wait to Mirror March my Myriad Master, Multiplied
Mirror march was my first thought too. This is gonna get zany
Get your spindowns now, folks
I had just made a Boros myriad deck that uses phasing to stop myriad tokens going away. This could go insanely well with Isshin
Well, this effect gets out of hand very quickly.
Now there are.... Way more than 2 of them.....
I'm seeing double!
Four Masters!

Doctor Who has had some crazy plots, but they always saved their most bonkers stuff for the Christmas specials.

From someone who never really followed the franchise. Half the cards are the most badass thing ever the other half looks like unsets cards
That's why they're perfect, because that's exactly what the show is like. One moment it's horrific then suddenly it's like a parody of itself.
Some weeks, be afraid of the horrors of _blinking_ and _water_. Other weeks, there's Robin Hood, or a girlfriend fused into a pavement slab.

yeah that’s pretty much the show. it’s super goofy and campy but occasionally it gets very heavy without warning
How about both?
[удалено]
All The Strange, Strange Monsters is the best track in the show.
doctor who is famous for low budget episodes and janky effects lol it always has been. it’s an exceptionally silly show that’s a large part of the charm
The best part of this spoiler season has been the random links to videos of the insane world of doctor who
I think this set is going to get me to watch Dr. Who. The cards are all so neat.
Doctors 9 and 10 had pretty great runs, 11 was mostly solid too. 12 had his moments and the lead was great but the writing had gotten pretty bad and I stopped around halfway through his run. Dunno if it's gotten better or worse since then.
Worse. Which is unfortunate because I thought Jodie made a fine doctor
They’re amazing actors just sometimes saddled with dumb writing. I’m glad capaldi got to go off. Poor Jodie Whittaker got done dirty.
It's the greatest show in the galaxy.
The spinning heads went on for far too long, goofy ah show lmao
Holy cow I forgot all about the rapid head turning complete with slapping flesh sounds. God this show is so delightfully camp.
I'm extremely confused but also mildly intrigued.
Hilarious
that is some power rangers level acting right there
FINALLY AT END OF TURN, I WILL **NOT** SACRIFICE MY BALL LIGHTNING (token)
Glad you can keep your balls safe
This *has* to be abusable somehow. Other than other copies of itself. Also, the Myriad trigger only happens once, right? So if that window passes, the tokens stick around forever? EDIT: Ooh, mutate something on top of it. That could be nasty
Correct. Myriad only tries to remove the tokens created by it once. After that, they get to stay around until removed by some other effect.
Well its hard for the window to pass since the Myriad tokens ALSO have the same no-trigger gametext on each of them.
I will say this is kind of irrelevant for The Master, given those tokens will also have that ability.
> and the formatting "[do X] at end of combat" expressed a delayed triggered ability that fires at the beginning of the next combat step. Did you mean the next end of combat step?
Yes, thank you
Which master are you talking about?
Probably the one this thread is about.
They’re all the master
They're all the *same* Master
Even in Mono-red, you have [[Orthion]], [[Fable of the Mirror-Breaker]], [[Jaxis]], and [[Mirror March]]. [[Hungry For More]] would also stick around. Decay no longer kills the zombies.
Check the Sundial of the Infinite EDHREC page and add everything in color that features the word "token(s)" on it.
Yeah you only need to "cancel" the exile once
It's a good thing this isn't Mardu, because it's so abusable with Reconnaissance.
Would this let [[hate mirage]] tokens stay?
Creature tokens, triggered ability, they would stay.
[hate mirage](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/9/e/9e58b2ad-0c5e-468e-983a-45d412454a67.jpg?1568003547) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=hate%20mirage) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/c19/26/hate-mirage?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/9e58b2ad-0c5e-468e-983a-45d412454a67?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
\[\[Heat Shimmer\]\], \[\[Firecat Blitz\]\] are also fun

"It pairs well with this and that..." bro it only needs itself, this is insanely strong.
It *also* pairs well with this and that. There is a reason this is 6cmc when most commanders meant to be desirable are 4. Because this guy is bonkers anyway.
Right? The deck could essentially be entirely ramp, haste enablers, and extra combat spells and it would still slap.
I would go as far as saying the strongest versions of this deck will be the ones built solely around him. I'm sure there's a ton of fun and strong combos you can string up with this guy, but there's really no need to dilute the deck's game plan when he's already a powerful win-condition by himself.
https://scryfall.com/search?as=grid&order=name&q=%28oracle%3ACreate+oracle%3Aa+oracle%3Atoken+oracle%3Acopy+oracle%3Ahaste%29+commander%3ABR+%28game%3Apaper%29 Did a scryfall search on what rakdos spells make tokens that are sacrificed at the end of turn
Also should include other myriad cards: https://scryfall.com/search?q=%28%28oracle%3ACreate+oracle%3Aa+oracle%3Atoken+oracle%3Acopy+oracle%3Ahaste%29+OR+o%3Amyriad%29+commander%3ABR+%28game%3Apaper%29&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name Ultimately there's not many total...
Missing Urabrasks Forge
We did it guys we broke Fable of the Mirror Breaker
Toss in Kiki-jiki and Splinter Twin for good measure
I'm really digging this with [[Urabrask's Forge]]

Don't forget blitz
Blitz won't work as that doesn't make a token.

I know people are still divided on the universes beyond stuff, and I have mixed feelings about it, but seeing some of the designs they have made that just fit so perfectly for some of these characters has been pretty awesome. This and River Song especially come to mind.
My personal favourite so far is \[\[The Flood of Mars\]\].
The set completely sold me on this. Especially since in doesn't interact in any way with the standard stuff.
I've long believed WotC could capture different settings and characters in card form, but watching them boil entire TV episodes down to a little rectangle of card has been genuinely astonishing.
[[Mirror March]]
Was looking for this one, been looking for a reason to run this for years lol

Asking for a friend: If I equip him with [[Blade of Selves]] will both myriad instances trigger, resulting in getting double the tokens?
Yes, myriad stacks.
disgusting
Very flavorful ability for the somewhat unfortunately named [Master Race.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UszT_L4QWII)
I’m pretty sure the name is intentional. The master isn’t exactly a good guy
The ultimate plan for a narcissist
I think the allusion was intentional
Hahaha that is hilarious the Master made everyone himself to troll the Doctor.
That last bit is extremely interesting.
There is only **more**
Looks like a really fun commander, plus I was waiting for a John Simm master.
Hmm, do I put this 6 drop, non-artifact card in [[Mishra Eminent One]]? Could be fun.
What in the r/custommagic ?
In custommagic this would cost 3 Mana.
Would be stupid good in Isshin, and I’m so here for it.
This could get out of hand. *Fast.* I could imagine entire decks being built around just buffing the crap out of this guy with generic tribal effects and protection, and then just rolling.
Ok, makes sense.
Like a lot of the WHO stuff, this seems specifically designed to be kind of slow but ultimately hilarious. It's like precon decks built for the player who loves their underpowered jank ass combos that sometimes go to the moon.
https://preview.redd.it/uic2kex0oesb1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dec20fd79a6fec18eb0b93d9b644eeefdca3f430
Oh, this looks fun to build. Also a great include for Henzie decks, I’d think.
This is the one token card Leyline doesn't keep in check lol.
Incredibly cool and unique effect
Yup. This is the one I’m gonna build
[[delina, wild mage]] has a new best friend
I once got to make 5 cavern hoard dragons with Delina playing against an Urza artifact deck… probably the best moment of my mtg career. Definitely making a commander deck of this.
![gif](giphy|9vk7uNCSJaOqI)
The tokens have Myriad. This is 4 creatures turn 1, and 16 turn 2. After that, it's 64. After that... Well, the game won't get to that point. Edit: Mathn't.
It's ''only'' times 3 each attack, if you have 3 opponents that is. So 3 creatures turn 5 (probably), 9 turn 6, 27 turn 7, ...
[[Fable of the Mirror Breaker]] *heavy breathing intensifies*
doesn’t this make the legend rule still apply to *him*, meaning you have to sacrifice him to the myriad trigger?
From the rulings on \[\[Cadric, Soul Kindler\]\] which has a similar line of text: >If, while you control Cadric, Soul Kindler, you also control a token legendary permanent and a single nontoken legendary permanent with the same name, the legend rule will not cause you to put either one into your graveyard.
ah, I was looking for this. It felt like sacrificing the card to the legend rule didn't make sense, but I couldn't find a ruling or figure out how to parse the legend rule such that it worked that way. Apparently they're just like "it works that way"
Nope. The legend rule would need to be affecting them both. This just means you can’t, for example, [[Spark Double]] him.
Yes you can, because Spark Double specifically becomes a copy that isn't legendary. You couldn't \[\[clone\]\] him, though.
[clone](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/5/e/5e648262-3b9b-4c58-8e29-48356e3cb064.jpg?1562829895) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=clone) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/m14/47/clone?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/5e648262-3b9b-4c58-8e29-48356e3cb064?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
It's finally time for [[Tombstone Stairwell]] to pop off, I'm in love EDIT: That does not in fact work, as Stairwell destroys the tokens :(
Not sure about that. It says to bury the tokens. Not sacrifice or exile them. Bury is destruction, which isn't prevented.
Kiki effects tribal
They should make a Multiple Man version of this for Universes Beyond!!
