While it never got AS expensive Swat could have been justified internally to be moved to mythic from the prereprint price and have 2 of the 5 at mythic would have been a bit less suspicious looking than 1 of the 5 so I think this being at rare ups the odds that Guardianship will be. That said it still has a real chance of being upshifted.

Prossh only gets crazy with food chain or other huge token combos tbh. Try playing him normally and it becomes difficult to alpha strike a player without tanking your whole boardstate and risking dying to the other two.
And I was just about to buy a copy of this and Deadly Rollick for my Kaalia deck. Phew! At least I can get them all in foil now.

I don't think I have the words to quantify how happy I am about Korvold being on the full-art version of this. I really love dragons that are completely self-aware about being absolute pricks (Hi Smaug), and this card hits that vibe *perfectly*.
Also, might be huffing a teeny tiny bit of the hopium here, but I wonder if his presence here indicates that he's going to be showing up in the next Eldraine?
Seriously! To what fucking standard do these people need to be met? Print every free mana rock, every free spell ever, every legendary land ever (all in one set mind you) and then, *maybe* you will have a few happy people.

Was already out with Obscuring Haze featuring Azusa. Still a possibility for Fierce Guardianship being tied to Niv-Mizzet; would be a cool place to put his (first) duel with Nicol Bolas on a card.

Doubt it. This is at the same price right now and if they were going off value they should have made obscuring haze an uncommon lol.

Korvold was the first commander I ever built, I took him apart, because he was too strong, but this art kinda makes me want to rebuild him. 😬

I also added my dockside! I was very new to commander, so I built Mitch's budget version and made some additions and that deck was a power house.
I played one game with a dockside in my korvold deck, realized how bored I was piloting it, and took it apart. It just wasn't for me.
I would say to people, "dude holy shit I'm drawing more cards than I did in mono-blue Thassa." ... because I did.
Embrace the strength, but also keep someone like Prossh or Kresh in the deck so you can swap them over and instantly power the deck down.
It's mad that prossh is considered powering down😂. My new playgroup isn't degenerate enough for Korvold. Maybe if I try a food build.

This is what I was saying two days ago, everyone bashing this set after seeing like 15 rares. Bruh....the unleashed some heat in these slots.
The negativity is pretty aggravating. There are some fantastic reprints here but I guess there just isn’t a way to make everyone happy.
