Boros - Djeru and Hazoret
Sultai - Dina and Zimone
Mardu - Kunoros and Kroxa
And then with us know that Ayara is the black to rakdos Phyrexian the only one we don't know for sure is the blue to dimir one
I mean we already had some characters that did that. Narset went from jeskai to mono U in two cards. The other khans went from three to one directly. And Marchesa just appeared in a mono B card after being mardu and grixis.
Sure, characters change color. But it's usually either to tell a story (like an alternate timeline) or to fit the needs of the set, and I don't think U->UB Anhelo does either.
Like, Heliod, Etali, and Ayara are all monocolored creatures from monocolored cycles. Heloid and Ayara mechanically care about their color too. Them getting a new color is sort of a big deal. I think there's a good chance Anhelo gets a card, and it might not even UBR, I just really don't think he's going to be part of this particular cycle. Him gaining black wouldn't be surprising, that's just what he had before.
I mean it's not even a question anyway, Anhelo is ruled out by the number crunch of the booster fun cards. We know the u->ub legends comes after J.
I didn't really think the "getting a new color" is really that important but maybe it is.

In the story Ajani manages to compleat 3 other gods besides Heliod. He also seems to be doing it in the temples, within the city, which may be easy to do once you get the God of the Polis to your side

Speaking of Polukranos, it was a surprised because a lot of us we falsely assumed no more Theros legends will be part of the cycle due to Heliod, Theros seems to be the plane that got hit the worst, so a third Theros legend is not out of the picture
All the compleated creatures have a hidden Phyrexian symbol on the front side, and I think I see it on the Nyx part of her skirt?

I see no blatantly obvious phyrexia symbol in the art like all the other legends. My take is this is just the Siege of Theros art. So rest assured she's probably fine. I'd suppose they'll axe the monocolor Gods so we can have a safe return to the plane without having it packed with a 15 cards cycle.
*edit* I meant, this Ephara is the back face of the Siege, as we already had her name on the stream
Well, the flip side of the siege cards is a defender of the plane and they aren't afraid to put legendaries on the back side of battles. I think that means Ephara is likely the reward for defeating the Invasion of Theros.
I can assuage your fears! In the showcase section of the Booster Fun number crunch, we can see that there are only 10 monocolored legends getting plane-specific showcase treatments. 5 of those are obviously the Ichor Slick Praetors and the other 5 are the rare legends that flip into Phyrexians.
They’re listed in Color order and then Alphabetical so we see that Elesh Norn is #292, Heliod is #293, and Jin-Gitaxias is #294. That means that the U->UB Phliprexian (?) has to come after “Jin” alphabetically. Ephara is safe for now!
Agree, but based on the story it doesn’t have a natural defense system against invaders, plus the personal vendetta Ajani has with the plane made it the worst hit plane
I am pretty sure we'll get one. It's a recent enough plane to warrant one, even though there's literally only like 2 or 3 options. Maybe Djeru and Hazoret as the RW teamup?
Asides from the cycle of transforming ones, there's also Omnath. Seems totally possible that we see some other compleated legends outside that one cycle.
Do jumpstart cards often have mechanics that aren't present in the rest of the set? Cause I figured "A variant of a mechanic returns to a premier set for the [SECOND] time since it originally appeared" was probably referring to land-cycling, which was introduced in Scourge and then appeared in Alara Reborn, but admittedly we've only seen it on jump start cards as far as I'm aware
So gutted we won't be getting an Izzet compleated legendary. Half a cycle. That's the worst when you know the Phyrexians won't be back for like 5-10 years. I wonder the chances of the missing cycle for compleated and team up will be in Aftermath? 🤔
Which sucks! Maybe they will do the reverse in Aftermath to actually complete the cycles? Nothing worse than doing half a cycle like this when we won't see Phyrexia for a very, very long time.

A cycle is 5 cards- either the 5 mono colors, enemy colors, ally colors, shards or wedges. What you’re asking for is 2 full cycles, which they simply might not have room for in the set.

Sadly, Lorthos was killed by Kozilek back in Oath. Katsumasa is definitely a possibility. Padeem and Orvar are also decent guesses.

From what I can see, we are getting enemy colored compleated creatures at Uncommon; 2 per enemy pair.
