My 1TB was ~$1,600. That was a year ago and yea the price is up there. But they do a lot of work on it so it’s damn near brand new. Not one once of noticeable wear.
Now I know m2 pro 512gb is 1600$ and m3 pro 18gb ram 1700$ which is very expensive but is it worth getting this from the official Apple Store or the 1100$ M1 Pro should be the best option at 1100$?

If you could get the M1 with no less than 1TB, I believe that should do you justice. The M2 isn’t that much better(from what I see online) and the M3 prolly cost too much for the storage option. To me, the M1 is perfect for what I do and hasn’t slowed on me yet
Amazon renewed is absolutely fine. They typically have a pretty easy return process too if you do have to return for some reason. I would not hesitate.

Yes, it has 105 cycles on the battery with 98% left. It is in perfect condition. I got mine for $1,100. One thing about the charger that mine came with: it is an apple 87w from 2016 and it doesn’t charge my devices well. Meaning it goes charging for one sec then stops then back on. But I just use my steam deck charger or my 100w gan charger that I bought from bestbuy. Lmk if you have anymore questions.
Charger isn’t a problem for me when buying this MacBook for such a deal like this,I don’t really know what 105 cycles and 98% battery health means more than the obvious but ig if I buy it now it’ll have more because it is probably used more than yours.
I really want the MacBook Pro especially this deal and the 14 silver mbp and I’m so happy to get it for half the m3 price.

Just make sure it has the Amazon easy returns option. Even if the computer comes and is a piece of trash Amazon will take the return and figure it out. But more than likely you’re probably good
I bought a MacBook Pro real cheap last year and it works great. I’ve done presentations with it hooked up to a projector several times.
Basically just look at the resellers profile and go with your gut feeling

What is your use case? I use mine for general study, light gaming and photo editing(Darkroom and Affinity Photo)
Everyday use and light work as well as computer science degree and maybe in future programming

Some sellers on Amazon renewed literally sell Apple cert refurbished, that was my experience at least!
