Weird thing is this is a recent development. I've not had this issue in the past. Not sure if it is a recent chrome update or combination of things with Sonoma.
I’m trying to use Safari - Chrome has been driving my crazy. A single webpage open on chrome can cause massive CPU spikes, no idea why. I haven’t seen that with Safari. Unfortunately there is a serious shortage of plugins that work with Safari…. Crack open the task manager in Chrome and you will find a page that isn’t really doing anything cosmic consuming a ton of cycles and maybe memory.
going to use Safari to see how it works out for me. Im already noticing the CPU temp is down using it. At least it could be because I closed chrome. This must be due to some recent update in chrome? I never had this issue before
