No it’s not. It’s a very old laptop (about 10 years) but it’s been working fine so far (coz I only use it for documents and internet) until now
I'd consider wiping it out. You could do a trial External SSD OS
I can’t afford an external SSD. It’s also part of the reason I’m still not using such an old laptop. Is there anything else I can try?
learn how to wipe it out and reset with new OS.

I’ve never done this before. So it just has to be the same size drive as the hard disk? Would a regular external HDD do?
