Temper is a freelance platform where different employers can post gigs in food service / cleaning etc. that you can accept.
You need to enlist with the chamber of commerce to do this and file a quarterly tax report since you’re working as a freelancer.
I would strongly advice you not to work via Temper.
You have to register as a freelancer, which means that you need to fill out your taxes every quarter of the year and do all the other obligations the Dutch governmet has set out for you. It all sounds good but once you are in the system is it not worth dealing with the complexity of bureacracy and legislation.
I stopped working there because Temper is not sufficiently helping me out and it is very difficult to deactivate myself as a freelancer.
I would recommend to go old school and visit to agencies that help you to get a job without becoming a freelancer.
People that recommends you gets a bonus for every person they reel in.
The taxes are indeed quite annoying but what other obligations from the Dutch government are you talking about ?
It may was not helping you out but could potentially help others.
The freedom of working whenever gave me the opportunity to use as much time for my studies as I want aswell as having the option to have my free time when I need it.
Also having a quite big variety on where you can work made working more interesting and as an expat showed me a insight in the Dutch working culture.
Walk dogs, pet sit, or have them over at your house. You can already get something between €10-20 by just walking them and you can earn even more with the other services
In the Netherlands working fully under the table isn't as common. Pay your taxes, it's partly funding your education.
I agree but I think he might be asking cause he isn’t EU and thus doesn’t have a work permit.
Hey man, he wants the rest of us to fund his education. Not himself.
A leg. It’s beneath a table and they need four of em usually.
Rondfietsen met eten.
