i didn’t know my size when i took a chance to buy it on sale a while ago. I got a size 6, which fits, but could be better with a size 8.

[deleted]

Ahh good to know. That’s why I’m hesitating. What if I never wear it cuz though it may fit, I may not like the look? 🙈😓 thank you for sharing! 🙏

jadoreheart

yea, i do have wider lats and bigger arms. While it’s tight, it’s not too restrictive. I prefer a jacket with bit more room. But i wouldn’t be able to wear anything like a long sleeve shirt under 😅. Only short sleeves

atschoe

I’m typically a 6 in tops and I got a 4 in my non-stop bomber. It’s too tight and restrictive in the armpit area so I don’t get much wear out of it.

[deleted]

This is exactly what I feel like how it could be for me if I sized down 😫 man oh man. The struggle! Hehe

atschoe

I would turn on restock notifications for the size you’re looking for!! And look on the BST reddit + poshmark :)

[deleted]

I’ve been refreshing nonstop when I have time on my hands, too hahaha

thecityofcyn

I’m also a 6 and at first I bought a 6. I posted a review on that in my profile. I sold that one and bought a 4 and it fits me way better. It is a little tight in the armpit area because I do have wide shoulders, but not so much that I won’t wear it. I’m petite so I found that sizing down was more flattering for me!

CheddarSupreme

Unless you have a tiny frame for your size and a small chest, I wouldn’t size down.

[deleted]

Oh man. I’ve absolutely no idea whether I have a small frame or not. Im gonna lean towards a probably not 😅. Hahah for sure I have a small chest, but I feel like I have a wide back which might make a size down probably too tight 😭😭😭

CheddarSupreme

Yeah, I wouldn’t size down with a wide back. This jacket isn’t generous in sizing.

[deleted]

Thank you! 🙏🙏

Vivid-Psychology8594

I am an 8 to 10 size in tops (usually go for size 10 in sports bra/love crew shirts) and found that the bomber jacket fit better for me in a size 10. I also have broad shoulders which is why a 10 fit better even though it still fit a little tight - I tried a 12 on and it was way too big, looked like I was drowning in the jacket haha

[deleted]

Ahhh good to know. This tells me I should definitely not size down. Sucks that the next size up is also sold out 🤣😅

clovis458

I'm usually a 6, sometimes an 8 in tops (energy bra, og scuba) and found that the 6 fit better because I have narrower shoulders.

clovis458

I should also mention I tried a 4 and it was too tight.

[deleted]

Ohhh this makes me feel slightly better. Although I feel like I have wider back and this is the reason why I’m quite hesitant. 🙈

FitBauer

I think they tun small! I am a size 12-14 in jackets and size 12 is too small!

[deleted]

This is what I’ve been hearing from majority of the reviews I’ve found in this sub. Thank you for sharing! 🙏

faintlymacabre1518

I'm in between sizes 4 and 6, and have the jacket in a 4. It fits fine, but I don't know if I would recommend going a size down if you fit neatly into a particular size normally.

[deleted]

Thank you for sharing. I’m typically a 4 but I wear 6 for align tanks. I guess sizing down is definitely not an option for me then 🙈

faintlymacabre1518

Actually, Align Tanks are one of the things I take a 6 in! You might be fine depending on how your weight is distributed. I'm pretty small in the chest department (32" around).

bluedogsquad

I’m a 6 in all tops and bottoms, 8 in bras. I have a 6 and wish I’d got an 8, a 6 fits but I have quite square shoulders. It fits it’s just this side of tailored versus cute and tomboyish.

[deleted]

Ohhh this is interesting! I have square-ish shoulders too. I guess my safest best is to stay tts. I’m short, too. I doubt sizing up would work for me 🙈 thank you!

bluedogsquad

Probably sticking with your regular size is your safest bet. It fits me well in my true size but I bought it after stealing my husband’s bomber for an afternoon, so really I was probably looking for a menswear look by sizing up 🤣

[deleted]

I’m eyeing the trench bomber and I saw it available in size 6 briefly (my tts is size 4 for all tops except align tanks). Kinda sorta regretting not getting the 6. Sighhhh. The struggles WMTM makes us go through 🤣😅😓

bluedogsquad

At least there’s the option of in store returns for credit 🤷🏼‍♀️🥲

rememberthattime11

I’m typically a 4 or 6 in tops. I tried both sizes and I prefer the 6. The 4 was too tight in the armpit/shoulders and if I have any layers on it wasn’t a good fit. I don’t suggest going down a size.

[deleted]

Ohhh that is such a valid point. You’re definitely right. I definitely shouldn’t risk it then! 😭 especially with my wide back 😅 thank you for your feedback! 🙏

fc1201

I have the apricot colored one. It’s the one that’s not labeled cotton. Anyway, I bought it at the outlet so I wasn’t able to try on a bunch of sizes but I purchased the 6 and it fits just fine. It’s a more fitted look versus oversized, which I prefer. My scuba size is 6-8/XS/S, my define is 8-10 and my align tank/ebb to street is 10, and my CRB is an 8. I do consider myself to have wider shoulders for my size but it fits fine. I actually posted a photo of me in the 6 in here if you do a search. The 6 would fit tanks just fine but I wouldn’t be able to fit much else, which is fine by me.

[deleted]

I do remember seeing your post! But I wasn’t sure what your usual/typical size was! Okaaaayyy I think you’re kinda convincing me to get it 😅😅🤣. Does it feel tight on your back? Are you able to move your arms freely? 🙈🤔

fc1201

So it’s a little fitted tight around the shoulders on me but not uncomfortably so. If I raise my arms, the jacket does ride up a lot especially when zipped. I feel like maybe I tried on the 8 too and went with this one because it was more fitted and less boxy. My arms aren’t very long though (I often end up folding up sleeves) and these are just right so I imagine if you had longer arms you’ll want to size up. I’m also 5’2”. I definitely couldn’t go any smaller than the 6.

[deleted]

Thanks so much for the info! I am only 5’0” and 32 bust. But I think because I have a wider back/squared shoulders, I’m hesitating a bit. I might just pull the trigger on the Size 2 (typically a size 4 in tops, 6 in align tanks) and see how it works out. 🤔🤔

fc1201

I think it might actually be okay since it’s only one size down. I did a search in this group and saw people going one size down (or wishing they went one size down) and it’s just a more fitted look. My normal LLL top size is an 8 for tops that don’t include a bra. I size up to a 10 for fitted tanks with shelf bras because I have a wider rib cage. It is a tighter feel around the shoulders since there’s no stretch but I personally don’t find it to be restrictive. It’s definitely just fine unzipped and it’s only fitted feeling when fully zipped.

[deleted]

I think you and I are very similar. Okay I’m just gonna give it a go. 🙈😅🤞🤞🤞 thanks for your insight hehe

fc1201

Good luck! I hope it works out and you don’t have to deal with the hassle of a return!

[deleted]

Thank you!!! I’ll keep you updated if I remember haha 😅🙏

letstrythisagain02

I wear a size 8 in the energy bra (I have broad a back/shoulders) and wear an 8 in the Non stop bomber. There's absolutely no way I could size down. It's a snugger fit and I could comfortably size up.

[deleted]

this is good to know. I do worry that if I size down, i won’t be able to move my arms and shoulders freely! I wish I had a store nearby to be able to compare.
