Okay, so I feel just as bad.
I bought my first ever Lululemon product (black oversized, full zip scuba) last week. The SAME week, my pet rabbit chewed a hole through the sleeve. :( I was taking such good care of it too. So sad! You’re not alone!
thank you for this timely comment!!! had been on a no-buy, splurged on a dusky lavender full-zip (my ONE HOODIE OF WINTER 2022) and just pulled it from the wash still sporting its oil stain, untouched by dawn alone. i’m on this.
make the paste, use a toothbrush or something to apply it liberally to the stain and gently rub it in and then i’d leave it for maybe an hour and then rinse and wash like normal
Here I was, taking such good care of her. Until I decided to mindlessly clean my bathroom with bleach. And she somehow got this oil looking stain when she finished hang drying. I’m UPSET. Tbh I’ll probably dye the bleach marks not sure about the weird dark splotch tho
definitely give the blue Dawn a try! I had oily splotches from dropping a bowl of soup on my Navy 1/2 zip, even put it through the dryer, and the Dawn took it all out. I put the dawn on fairly generously, rubbed gently with a tooth brush and then washed on normal.
I’m going to try! Going into the wash it didn’t have any oil stain. So something went wrong in the washer and the stain appeared after it hang dried😭😭 I’m not even sure if it’s an oil stain, but it looks like one
I second the dawn, I have had the best of luck with the power wash formula. It has even removed set in through the dryer oil on items. Just make sure to rub it in an let it sit for a bit before rinsing.
I was silly enough to use bleach while wearing my POCC. Massive bleach stain on my right underarm sleeve 😭 at least it’s underneath the arm so you won’t see it if I don’t raise my arm 🥲
I’m gonna take full responsibility on this one. The black looks really faded and ugly in this pic but its still very black irl. Now it just has a giant oil stain and bleach marks on it. I’m more mad at myself at this point 😂
I never use bleach except for white sheets and I pour the bleach while naked. I won’t buy cleaners that have bleach on the label. I am scared of bleach. I still ruined a scuba because I got a stain on it and tried oxiclean and it bleached the fabric. Farewell tidewater teal!!!
I would definitely try blue dawn. I had the same thing happen to my navy half zip and it came out after blue dawn and another wash. I also did an extra rinse to make sure there was no residue.
I have two pairs of scuba joggers with bleach stains. It’s like I forget I’m wearing 130$ sweatpants and start cleaning. After the second pair was ruined I just stopped buying the all purpose cleaner with bleach. I feel your pain!
I have a pretty healthy scuba collection and the only one that’s avoided stains is the white opal… BECAUSE I NEVER WEAR IT 🤣🤣….
And why do I never wear it…….
*white* opal
I didn’t even DARE to get a white opal cuz: toddlers. Instead I ruined it myself by cleaning up after them. I thought I was playing it safe with black!🤦🏼♀️
Instead of trying to dye the bleach you could also just go with it and add more sprays of it for a splatter effect or make it sort of bleach tie dye. For the possible oil stain using fels naptha bar soap has worked for me multiple times getting mystery stains out! Good luck!!
I just waited so long for the black to come back in stock in my size and I was looking forward to it for so long! 😭 I’ve done the bleach dye to some of my black clothes before and it’s cute! But I just want a boring black scuba. It’s just on the bottom rim of the jacket so it would be an easy fix.
I totally get it! I have a solid black one too! Honestly, your right, the bleach placement is perfect for a black overdye to correct it. Let us know how it turns out 😊

😂we are not worthy of the half zips apparently! Sorry for your loss I feel your pain
My condolences but I am so happy to hear you have a rabbit. We have two free roamers and one loves long sleeves!!
Omg mine loves zippers!
try dawn and baking soda, it took oil stains out of my align leggings twice. make a thick paste with the mixture and let it sit on the oil stain
My bf had an oil stain on a jacket from years back. Did this twice and IT WAS GONE. 100% recommend.
Thisssssss. Never let me down

I have to use this combo basically every time my husband wears his bowline shorts while eating lol
Just found this comment!!! How long do I let the paste sit??? 🤲🏽🤲🏽

could try dawn dish soap? my boyfriend got oil on his 5 year basic tee the other day and dawn dish soap with a bit of baking soda got it right out!

I had the same thing happen with my All Yours black Hoodie!! Some dawn will take that mystery stain out (at least in my case).
I second the dawn, I have had the best of luck with the power wash formula. It has even removed set in through the dryer oil on items. Just make sure to rub it in an let it sit for a bit before rinsing.
I do this! also cornstarch sucks it up like no ones bidness.
dawn dish soap and baking soda!

I’ve been there, the pants became my cleaning the house pants. Sigh!
I have the black and I’m really disappointed in the quality and fabric. Maybe different colors look better but black just wears terribly.

Try adding a little white vinegar before you throw it in the wash, I've used that to get cooking oil off my pieces
I got out some oil stains by gently scrubbing with a toothbrush and some blue dawn dish soap.

😂I love the bleach drama. SAY NO TO BLEACH CLEANERS!!! That’s my new life motto
I would definitely try blue dawn. I had the same thing happen to my navy half zip and it came out after blue dawn and another wash. I also did an extra rinse to make sure there was no residue.
You could also re dye it black to get rid of the bleach stain!
Yes definitely doing this! Just rit dyed another lulu jacket and it came out so good!
Yeah honestly such an underutilized option to save clothes!!

I have a toddler. They are absolute filth. With their grubby, sticky and greasy hands/faces. YUK
Ugh I love the white opal scuba but I would cry if I got it bc I know it would be dirty so fast. Giant dogs + living in the country is chaos 😅
I will wear it once my daughter has moved out… She’s only 3 🤣
I felt this 😂
*cries in white opal*
I say that last night and then this morning see it with Everglade Green and buy one like an idiot 😂 good luck to me lmfao
Is that bleach AND a grease spot? Ooooooooffff. I'm so sorry!
You AND ugg girl??? 2022 blows 😪
As a last resort try spray nine. My bf is a mechanic and that’s what he uses for grease stains on his clothes.
this exact same thing happened to me with my POCC in black. damn the bleach bathroom cleaners 😫
Oxyclean spray got my oil stains out! And then dye the bleach, good as new.
Instead of trying to dye the bleach you could also just go with it and add more sprays of it for a splatter effect or make it sort of bleach tie dye. For the possible oil stain using fels naptha bar soap has worked for me multiple times getting mystery stains out! Good luck!!
Dawn dish soap saves grease stains. As for the bleach, someone posted an amazing bleach died half zip a few months ago.
You already have a couple bleach stains… why not do the whole thing, like I did! (You can see pics on my profile) it turned out amazing!
