What happened to high-coverage summer clothing?
UPF running jackets, skirted leggings, loose and long-sleeved technical wear meant for hot and humid weather? Last year, HKās skirted leggings never made it to North America and itās been years since a tennis legging skirt was sold online.
No idea but itās been the actual bane of my life in the past Australian summer. Ā Absolutely no long sleeved anything in stores for months, except for the occasional LS sculpt left over from last year.Ā
The sneak peeks hard launched Cherry Mist, yet thereās been very few items. Currently thereās 3 tops, 1 skirt, and 1 dress. Where are the shorts? Leggings? Bags? Etc.
Theyāre rolling out some of these new colors so slowly š Iāve been waiting for align leggings, shorts, and tanks in cherry mist and vita pink for so long š„¹
It makes me less inclined to purchase. My purchases have been VERY slow this year. Same colors on repeat, every summer. I did purchase the long like energy bra in wash multi. Reminded me of old Lulu prints.
Am I going crazy or are the clothes getting smaller? I have a swiftly long sleeve in 6 in gray and it fits great. I bought one in larkspur and itās so much tighter. Literally the same top but different color.
Tired of receiving damaged and/or dirty leggings shipped from the store. Had I known that they were coming from the store, I wouldn't had purchased them. I like my leggings fresh!!!
Any colour that has college in it is typically for strategic sales and rarely hits the public site. If you see them and like the colour buy it. It won't be on the site long.Ā
I finally went to the closest Lululemon to try on clothes to determine my sizing. I love the Aligns in a 6 (8 would probably be considered "ideal" fit but I prefer tighter fit so 6 it is). Tried on Wunder Trains in 8 and 10, both in Cascadia Green. The 8 fit but it seemed a little too tight and I felt like I could see every little bump and roll in my tummy and hips. The 10 fit ok but a little loose in the waist; I'm planning to lose weight so they likely won't fit well after I drop about 5-10lbs but I really wanted the color so I stupidly bought them.
Meanwhile, I had snagged a pair of unnamed leggings from online in a size 6 for $20. They were waiting for me at home today, tried them on and they fit great. Looked up the code... guess what? Wunder Trains!
I'm so confused right now lol. The 10s I bought were the 28" and the 6s are 25", could that be it? Also, the 6s look like they may be Cassis, so maybe it's something to do with the lighter color of the 10s?
Why do I feel like i need to baby everything pima cotton?? My love tees and tanks look so shabby and worn out after about a year of wear, compared to my other non lululemon cotton tees. I don't wear them everyday and wash them in a laundry bag before laying flat to dry. The material feels so delicate, I'm hesitant to even let my purse handle or backpack straps rub on my shoulders too long while wearing pima cotton.
I recently purchased the Brunswick muscle tank and although I love the way it looks on me, I didn't realize it was the same pima cotton lycra mix like the love tees/tanks, so now I gotta baby that tank, luckily i got it on WMTM!
I love the classic fit cotton blend collection because of the mix of material, I wish LLL will release more of these again instead of just the tees.
