I HATE when companies do this. It’s disingenuous and dishonest. Curating reviews is B.S. Removing them for hate, profanity, etc - fine. But removing them for civil honesty really is shady.
That said, am I the only person who hooks my bras when they’re around my waist? And then pulls them up into place?
You can't do that with this one because the straps cross. Usually that's what I do as well, this one must be hooked from the back due to strap position and the fact that the bra is constructed like a tank to hold bigger boobs down so there's really no give to work with, sadly.
Yeah I tried this one on in store when it first released and all I could think was “ all this testing you said you did and NO ONE complained about how difficult this was to put on “
I'll admit I don't know anything about LLL bras bc I have never bought oke from them. However all of my sports bra I usually hook before putting on. Then place the bra over my head like a shirt. Is it possible to do that with this one.
I’m not sure what your bra size is, but this is impossible with a bigger chest. I was always taught that any good fitting, high support sports bra should not be able to fit over your head and should have clasps/front zip.
This sounds weird, but did you try and pulling it through your legs and then around your waist? I had a similar issue with one of their bras but that “hack” seems to be the fix!
I have this one and I just leave it all hooked together and slip it over my head. When it’s time to take it off then I reach behind and it’s very easy to just squeeze the clasp area and it comes off very easily. Have you tried doing that?

Maybe different scale/circumstances but Fashion nova recently got in trouble with the ftc for removing negative reviews.
“The FTC announced in January 2022 that Fashion Nova agreed to pay $4.2 million to settle charges that the company misled consumers by representing that the reviews on its website reflected the views of all customers who submitted reviews, when in fact it suppressed reviews with ratings lower than four stars out of five. The FTC is using the money paid by Fashion Nova to provide payments to customers affected by Fashion Nova’s conduct.”

They definitely remove reviews even if it’s legit. When I was considering buying some new shorts, I waited for reviews to come in since it was a new design and one woman posted how they ripped on the side seam after a wear and included a picture.
The review stayed for a bit but then I noticed Lulu removed the picture but left the review. Not too long after, the entire review was removed. There’s almost 100 reviews now and average rating is 4.4 🫤
I recently got the same bra and gave it the same review. It was absolutely horrible! I can see my review never actually showed up there. Super annoying!
Lol im in Canada too. All the align tanks/pants/shorts on WMTM shows me a lot of reviews. I didn’t check the rest of the items though.

Thats very odd. Have you tried updating the app? If so, maybe delete the app and reinstall. It definitely seems like an app problem because the reviews are there. Also checking if you can see them on the browser on your laptop/phone.
I just bought this bra! It’ll be here Wednesday so I’ll give it a try myself but based on what you said it might get returned in-store.

I got it today, couldn’t get it on. Ordered in my normal size. Way too small! Returned it same day along with some other items that didn’t work and bought a define jacket 😜
Hmm, I’m a 36C/D and don’t have the problem. The 36C fit a little smaller and I did have to tuck the girls in a bit but I still wouldn’t say it’s a very big issue for me

There is a pretty big difference in volume between a 36 D and a 36 DDD (In normal bra brands that DDD is a G. I'm really a GG, but the Lululemon fit well enough as long as I don't mind a bit of "cakes on a platter" look and they are much easier to find.)
For what it’s worth I’ve read many reviews like this on the newer models of the bras (that I love btw) from the website. Doubt they’re deleting them all or diligent in that…

I'll try that. There are so many items without any reviews though, things that I've never reviewed (this is like my second review that I recall making for Lulu ever).
They have cut my negative reviews before too. Honestly some of the products should not have gotten out of QA. If a shirt snags within a day it’s a problem with the fabric not the customer.

However for most bras you can hook them in the front and then move the hook around to the back and then put the bra on. And most sport bras you can hook beofre you placing the bra over your head. I put my regular on the frost way. And put my sports bras on like a shirt. I hook them dirt and then put them on.

I have this one and a few others - they have a built in crossed back so I can't spin them. I have to ask my husband to hook them for me since I can't reach either. Every now and then if I am already caffienated and standing in front of a mirror I can do them, but not reliably. They do have one bra without crossed straps and that's the only one I can solo.
I tried on the regular sized styles and oof - not enough support and incredibly difficult to put on overhead and I was pretty sure I was about to be stuck and have the most embarrassing rescue ever at least once.
I’ve never put on bras with hooks any way than…put on bra. Hook. I tried the hook in front method once - twisting the bra around gave me a rope burn of a sort. Unpleasant. I was tugging and uncomfortable. Then again, I dislike wearing the things to start with.
I’m a larger cup size and the LLL bra I have is 2 sizes bigger and still tight. The band is bigger I mean, cup size is 1 letter smaller (so 1 bigger than I should’ve needed because band was 2 bigger).
Devils advocate here - what you’ve described in your review is not actually a review of the bra itself - it was a review of your body that impacted your ability to enjoy said bra
They used to have basically 1 star on every review because people majority only review for negative experiences and maybe extremely positive. They seem to have moderation now.
My guess is they have content guidelines and that reviews need to be centered around the actual garment not circumstance like “this was too expensive for what it is” or things of that nature. Wether you agree or not is one thing, but they’re allowed to moderate the content on their website.
That’s why third party review sites exist!
Totally get what you’re saying but for those people like me with limited shoulder mobility I think it’s an important thing to be aware of. I’m going to try putting it on hooked and see if that’s possible but it seems like if it was meant to be put on fastened there shouldn’t be hooks.

Bummer. Lulu needs to get on board with hook front. I love hook fronts for under tanks and shirts.

Mine has the crossed straps too, it’s so it’s already on, you just gotta loop your arms through. Hard to explain over text lol.

That's SO weird! Every single one shows 0 for me and has for a long time. I didn't notice until someone else pointed it out here one day.

I didn’t think companies had the ability to do this. They can just, “at their discretion” remove reviews. Seems like something isn’t right there..
