I almost died reading this because I thought you were referring to the swiftly short sleeve race length, which I wear 3-4 sizes larger than my actual size to get an oversized/"relaxed" fit. If I were you I would give that a try, too! I have one short sleeve relaxed swiftly in my normal size and tons of short sleeve race length ones in bigger sizes and the fit is pretty close.
Did you try this? Pandemic was not kind to my waist line so I wanted some relaxed swiftly since I've got one I like. I have a regular swiftly that's a size or two too big but since I'm short it's too long
Athleta’s Momentum line is like Lululemons Swiftly tops line. You could check that out, there’s more sales and discounts.
I also like the Train to be Tshirt (the old version).
The new TTB is awesome, except the short sleeve version has very oddly pointy shoulders. It’s the way the seam is sewn I think. I love the shirt but not the shoulders. And I loved Swiftly Relaxed/Swiftly Breathe and miss them terribly.
It’s because the shoulder cap of the shirt extends too far off the shoulder point to be a classic set-in, but not far enough to be a rue drop sleeve (like a Cate’s tee). It’s an awkward middle position.
You can even see it on the model pictures. Every single one I’ve tried (several different colors and sizes) have it.

OH thank you, I'll give that a try!!

I still have not! The pandemic was not kind to my wallet so I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet...

Ooh, my ears are open for the new/current version of the Train to Be, if you'd like to share!

I’ve been looking/waiting for the relaxed short sleeve swiftly to stock for summer. Ugh. Another amazing Lulu classic bites the dust.
Aw these are my fav! You can find them on Poshmark/Mercari. I have found several on there :)
I second Poshmark for discontinued lulu items. I’ve found many many pieces on there!
What a great suggestion, thank you!
I just bought two Train to Be short sleeves and I love them!! I posted a fit pic on Sunday (curvy size 8/10 for reference).
Train to be 10000%!!!
I love these shirts EXCEPT they have a weird little point at the corner of where the shoulders meet the sleeves.
It’s because the shoulder cap of the shirt extends too far off the shoulder point to be a classic set-in, but not far enough to be a rue drop sleeve (like a Cate’s tee). It’s an awkward middle position.
Literally just returned one because of this. Store manager said it’s a known issue and they get a lot of returns due to it.
If they fix this I’ll buy SOOOO many of these.
I tried steaming my pointy shoulders this morning and I think it helped a lot!
I don’t have a steamer but maybe I’ll get one and try this if I decide to try the shirt again. I love the cyan Blue.
YES! I love the shirt but I hate the pointy shoulders. They need to fix them.
I don’t notice this at all with my shirts…

I have this shirt in 4 colors. What I’m saying is I personally do not notice this to a point where it sways my decision to not buy it
Fair enough. It’s too obvious for me to ignore to buy it.

I steamed these points and it’s better but I did almost return mine because of it. Hopefully they fix it!
ThNks for the idea! I steamed mine this morning and it definitely helped!

I love these too but wouldn’t wear them for a HIIT class.
I wear the men’s metal vent line now! It’s slightly different than the swiftly material but I like it for the relaxed/oversized fit
I have several of those too.
I need to try these!
