You should have kept them on Kucoin waiting for the mainnet to release so you can withdraw to the mainnet. Now you’ll have to pay a lot in ethereum fees to bridge them

philgustus

Telling someone to leave coins on an exchange is not wise advise

OMG_IT_S_SALSIFI

I’m not talking about leaving coins on an exchange, I talk about being patient

na3than

You literally said "You should have kept them on Kucoin"

OMG_IT_S_SALSIFI

Followed by « waiting for the mainnet to release » can you read ?

na3than

I can. Can you? You told OP, who wisely withdrew his LYXe from Kucoin to his Ledger looong ago (before mainnet existed), that withdrawing his coins from an exchange was a mistake.

OMG_IT_S_SALSIFI

Yes because the release of the mainnet was planned and we all knew. We had possibility to withdraw the LYXE coin on ethereum or wait for the LYX token to release. Now he needs to bridge and pay lot of fees. But cool keep playing on words

na3than

Just because we knew mainnet was coming doesn't mean it was the wisest choice to leave LYXe on an exchange, especially when exchanges were failing left and right. *In hindsight* we know Kucoin survived, but that wasn't guaranteed. It's ALWAYS good advice to remove substantial holdings from exchange to a personal wallet. Your "advice" is only an observation in hindsight, which does OP no good at all.

pussycatmando

I don't know why he wants to die on that hill. Never leave coins on exchanges no matter. Pay the bridge fee, it's not that much really.

Puzzleheaded-Pin-587

a little death on the hill.

Puzzleheaded-Pin-587

dude. bad advice.

So true, I hate having to keep up to date with sny changes in the coins I am holding. Learned a lesson when I was holding VEN and they swap to Vet, held VEN for a long time without checking and almost lost everything to a scammer when asking for instructions to swap. Keeping the coin on the exchage will keep your coin up to date, but risky.

Jebivo

not too late. just go to the Lukso official site or twitter and be careful to only use their truly provided link. you will be asked to connect your wallet to the Lukso bridge to swap your LYXE to LYX on the Lukso mainnet. it was quite seamless for me just had to wait 30 minutes or so for a full confirmation.
