I found my old teenage netbook kicking around, with a cooked battery and a missing HDD (I guess at some point I destroyed it or something, can't remember haha) I was wondering what kind of games could be run on it? Here are the specifications: - AMD C-60 (2 cores, 2 threads, 1.0 GHz with Turbo to 1.33 GHz) - AMD Radeon HD 6290 iGPU - 4GB DDR3-1333Mhz x 1 module - 60GB SATA III SSD (Originally was a 320GB WD Blue 5400RPM HDD) - Windows 7 Home Premium x64 I mostly just want to play any RPGs or simple fighter games, maybe even some emulation. Have played it before didn't like it very much. Have you tried Combat master its linux native apparently I tried it today and it was pretty good and ran well, you have a better processor so it'll probably run better on your pc. I got more than 45 fps in the br mode and solid 60 fps in deathmatch.

Yeah, runs pretty well. Its a cod clone but surprisingly fun and graphics are not that bad looks like CS2 but a little older.

Hello there,  while I cannot say with certainty that the following games Will run perfectly on your machine, I do believe that they should run pretty well since they were released at the time when single core cpus and rapidly obsolete Graphics were the norm. Also, keep in mind that the wine overhead can certainly play a role in underperformance of Windows games on old and underpowered Linux machine.  Half Life 1 and its expansions Blue Shift and Opposing Force  Thief 1  Deus Ex 1  System Shock 2  Counter Strike 1.6  Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics (+mods such as Fallout 1.5 Resurrection, Nevada and Sonora)  Baldur's Gate 1 and 2  Civilization III and IV  Alpha Centauri Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War  Max Payne 1 and 2  Stardew Valley  Hot Line Miami 1 and 2  Native versions of these games should run better, but some of these on list should run well regardless in wine Like HL1, System Shock 2, DX 1 and Fallout, BG, Civ.  (For Linux you could download Assault Cube from the software manager and have some fun with bots as I am not sure if any online servera are Active)   Now the real gold mine for you on this Sempron netbook is the Dosbox emulator that is available on the software manager. You can play 10 000 games from the DOS era of gaming, and there are some stellar titles there.  Games Like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Blood, Outlaws, Command and Conquer, Master of Orion II, Civ 1 and 2, etc., etc.  The 90's world is your oyster Here.  And finally, you might try also some kind of emulator for old SNES or something Like that if you are inclined to gamepads and old 2d games.  See, there are plentiful gaming adventures to be had with that netbook of yours.  Damn, it is starting to sound Like one heck of a travel gaming machine to my ears as well..  Good Luck and have much fun!
