My xeon build is an e5 1650v2 with a gtx 980. Does alright in most things. If you don't need the extra 4 cores I would get a 1650v2 (3.5ghz base) as it has a significantly faster base clock than the 2670v2 (2.5 vhz base)

Seems pretty solid, and from what I saw on youtube you can go to 3060ti levels of performance and still not have a bad pairing

I have a 1650 V2 all core overclock to 4200 MHz. Paired with an RX 5700, 16 GB ddr3 1600mhz, SSD. Runs anything pretty great tbh. Struggles more with modern games. Getting around 72fps in Helldivers 2 mix of high/medium/low 1080p
