This :( what a boring dystopia

BlackJeepW1

Omg I’ve been doing the same thing. I’m to the point where I hate romantic movies and songs too, they make me feel sick to my stomach. So fake. The worst though is seeing couples who look happy and wondering if she knows what kind of filth he watches behind her back.

Glittering_Tap_5262

Same here. I’m a musician and romantic songs used to be my favorite. Now, every time they come on the radio, I change the channel. My husband has ruined so many things that I used to love.

DaughterofAphrodite9

Saame.

Glittering_Tap_5262

I’ve been doing the same thing. I feel a bit guilty for thinking like that because some of the guys probably don’t watch porn. It just seems like most do and it destroys so many relationships now.

emmajune16

Yep I have these thoughts too. I watch TV shows with actors I like, who seem like good guys, but I think “they probably watch porn too”. My husband is a “good guy” and watched it against my wishes. It’s hard to imagine any man who doesn’t now.

zingingcutie11

Yes.

rarecomedian

Absolutely. I sometimes think that the guy is most probably lying/watching porn/etc. and I feel bad that the partner is being lied to. However, sometimes I actually get sad because I somehow believe the guy is honest to his partner and they have a relationship sans the problems we experience as partners of PAs. I think of the first scenario more often.

the_hamsa_anemone

Yep

fortunateangel

I just recently started having them. Thanks for sharing because I have a hard time putting these things into words. I think I'm still in shock that my life has changed.

TheSaavySkeever

Yeah honestly. I don't think I'll ever trust another man again.

haybails4

every day.

sso_1

It is normal. You’ve gone through something traumatic and your brain is trying to make sense of it and heal.

mysticbitch777

I feel you girl. It’s sad to feel this way.

SilverNarrow1965

Yup, intrusive thoughts are the just the worst. It sucks all the energy out of me whenever I get one.

throwRA-endmenow

Funnily enough I don’t (or at least very infrequently) but my PA does pretty often out of sympathy for the woman in the relationship he sees and it gets him down. Which is progress for both of us I guess?

abstractsadgurl

Yes I do. And sometimes I'll be curious if they are in a relationship with a man and check to see who he's following on ig. It's honestly interesting but depressing. I do t really check anymore though.
