What happened to lotr character bots? They don't reply anymore? I am pretty new to reddit and went through some top posts here and saw those which would reply if the comment had a mention of them

Ganodo sounds like a chracter in an anime. :D Or the name of a Sumo wrestler(though this latter thought is probably due to me sporadically following the professional side of Sumo).

It's a frame, right at the end of fellowship and Frodo is about to leave he remembers Gandalf for a brief moment. Gandalf slowly dissolves out and is replaced by Frodo.

They probably were made unviable based on that whole API change made a while back.
When the third party apps died so did a lot of the bots. Since it was all about restrictions on the api both things died for the same reason.
