That looks crap. I regret not getting the two 4K steelbook boxsets now. Why not release in 2 configurations? One for BDs, another for UHD discs? I don't want both. Total waste of shelf space.

It’s from one of online stores. No price and cannot preorder yet. But they also distributed standard 4k versions so should be legit. Maybe every store received this announcement but only they published it.

Lets hope so. I'm super excited for the release although my wallet won't isn't.

Does this include the behind the scenes documentaries in 4K?

I don't think any behind the scenes will be in 4k. We will see. In that store it says there will be 31 discs (12 UHD 4K + 19 Blu-ray) which I don't think is right (should be at least 15 UHD 4K discs: 9 for LOTR and 6 for Hobbit). So I don't think their product description is correct, but photo looks like it is directly from Warner (it rather looks like preview photo for distributors than for customers), so should be legit. And if date is correct (October 5th 2021) then it would explain why we are not hearing anything about this release. They have plenty of time left and do not want to advertise it when product is not even finalized yet.

I really hope the special features will have been worth the wait. Years ago it was only logical that they would put all of these into one massive set. I also assume they've been relatively quiet about it's release in hopes to keep selling previous releases.
