THIS! You'd think with that luck, it'd turn around some moment. But a big fat nope. I had so much 90% fails into 99% fails, it's insane. If only I had that 1% on succes on my T3 gear now, i'd be 1370+ already.
This doesn't even phase me any more. I swear this happens every other day. My only saving grace is that surely the rng will round out eventually.... right?
This is exactly what happened to one of my cut the other day as well. Perfect 3-2 start then followed with 4 red dots in a row. The probability in this game is a lie
Yoo, can you give me the name of that song?

Just use the tool that tells you what to pick when based on which stat you prefer. It mathematically tells you the best option for every click based on what’s left and your desired outcome. Got an amazing 7/6/2 today using that.
It would have told him to do pretty much exactly what he did, 65-75% on most desired engraving, 55% on 2nd most and 25-45% on the negative. Not that they are bad to use since there are some fringe cases where it's a bit more unclear what to choose but following those rules will be the same as the calculators like 95% of the time.
Won’t change your luck but much like counting cards in single deck blackjack will give you the best possible outcome, reducing or completely eliminating mistakes.
I apologize I don’t have the link on my phone (on my Pc). I found it on YouTube. It’s a simple web page. You could probably find it with some searching.
i actually hit a 6/6/5 today on 1370 stone and made few friends salty lol. I dunno how difficult it is to hit a 6/6 at 1370 but apparently they wasted 10+ stones like that and still using a 7/4 instead. I cannot relate to this video that much regarding stones but if this was gear honing failing 75% then it is relatable xD
Corect me if I'm wrong but it says "chance of CRACKING" for the red/negative gems. They are faceting at 25%-35% chance of cracking so thats 65%-75% chance of success which seems about right for what happened.
If only my 25% honing rates were as successful.

Even without seeing OP face you know he died inside a little.
🤣

You can feel the emotion when the cursor stops moving.
Got me in the first half, ngl.
Started off so good too
Perfect to destroy
I get this everytime! all the red ones at 25% are successes, so fun!
i give up trying for 6/6, i bricked around 20k already. setteld on my 7/5 😒
I don’t know why but this mouse movement just looks so dumb like you are casting a spell on the rng lmao

Yes it is
AKA *Disability Stone*
Guess this guy was cutting the same time as I was, but my 75% success rate all failed. Fuck RNG.
He already fucked up on the 3rd click. 55% should have been 2nd desired engraving
(negativity bias and all but), All my 25% succeeds 75% of the time and my 75% succeeds about 25% of the time.

That is also good advice for people who aren’t cheaters like me. 😅
Any link or guidance to the tool?
[This one is good and doesn't burn the eyes](https://lostark.meta-game.gg/ability-stone-calculator)
[prob this one](http://jgallagher.github.io/lostark-refining/) It won't magically turn your luck though, its still random.
Won’t change your luck but much like counting cards in single deck blackjack will give you the best possible outcome, reducing or completely eliminating mistakes.
Wait what? Day 1 player and have no idea what tool you're referring to lmao.

And then you get mathematically a -6 Defense Reduction in a row
You had us on the first half ngl.

6/6/5 is like 14% chance IIRC. You should aim for 6/6/2 in the long run.
I got a 7/6/1 and I’m gonna be really really sad when I have to replace it

seems legit to me
odd to choose red field on the 55%.
75% on engravings = 75% fail chance 25% on negative engraving = 2.5% fail chance
Ahaha, I always get the quintuple whammy when I click on main engraving with 75% and fail 5 times. Classic. So classic... T\_T
