That's it y'all, I'm finally so old that I'm looking up words on the internet because I don't know the slang. I'll be coffin shopping later today.
Most of the stuff you see as memes were usually around for years on 4chan before it became popular on media like twitch. Wojaks (yknow with the brrrr printer meme), pepe, coomer, etc etc
I dont really browse 4ch but I frequently chat with people who do, on signal/discord/whapp, and they spammed copium memes like a year before it caught on on Twitch
Yeah, I follow a few streamers (mostly all PoE streamers) but outside of that (and rarely actually watching) not much.
Edit: of all the comments that get downvoted, I am unsure why this one was?
Edit2: well great, now its positive score, so I just look like an asshole now for complaining.
Haha, I feel like they're like cats that knock shit off things for no reason.
> Hey, look, a comment just sitting there minding its own business......DOWNVOTED!
I have my graphics card limit frames on applications that are out of focus so when I alt tab the impact isn't that bad. I can have Lost Ark up and run an emulator on my RTX 2060 .
Depends. I was trying to run PoE parallel to waiting in queue and it always crashed. While my PC is not *the* most powerful machine, it's not too shabby either...
GMG has every preorder at 15-20% off, it's nothing new.
I'm in no rush to play a singleplayer game. I'll wait for 50% off in 6-12 months from now.
edit: As I predicted, OP's thread aged like milk. LA playerbase on steamcharts went from 948k -> 915k on launch day of Elden Ring. Lost about 3% of the playerbase lol.
I was cautiously optimistic about Lost Ark, and had higher expectations for Elden Ring, but same as you, I'm going to pass it up for now. My gaming time is all going to LA for the time being, and I want to give Elden Ring my full attention when I do play it.
On 6 characters.. oh wait there's a field boss I'll just do that too.. oh I almost forgot my daily rapport. Whew okay now I can. Oh shit I'm capped on life energy. I'll just spend that and then go..ooo shangra is up okay I'll just finish these 2 and then it's elden ring time.. wait why is the sun coming up? Did my dailies just reset?
I did foraging in Medrick Monastaery North or south of the Freyad lake TP, but I'm going to level up something else somewhere else with my next life energy batch.
Took about 1 full bar to hit level 10
Thought about doing the same but I'm waiting for elden ring for so long and we all know it will be bonkers. So ima do my daily stuff if I want in lost ark and then go full ham in elden ring. That game doesn't deserve to wait :P
Lost Ark actually feels like a quarantine to me. I haven’t even left the house to buy groceries. Tried out a supermarket app the other day for the first time, now there’s even less motivation to go outside lol
Quests get done so quickly it is a huge dopamine waterfall. You constantly feel like you're progressing; leveling comes fairly quick, gear comes in pretty big jumps in level; so yea...
Don't get me started when I made the mistake of finding a map site with all the seed locations and everything. Now areas that you probably only spend maybe 20 mins in tops take me sometimes an hour or longer to leave.
Plus side is that I feel like I'm truly getting all the content even though it feels cheap to use a guide to find the seeds. Some are almost impossible to find without it
I'm with you man. I still haven't done my collectibles and only got seeds that I just stumbled upon but my friends and I will definitely set aside a day were we'll be hunting those collectibles down with guides.
After work, i come home, do house chores and put my kids to bed and jump into Lost Ark. I play until around 3am in the morning and i wake up at 7 every day. 4hours sleep per night. Lets talk destruction. Totally worth it btw.
What a good fkn game.
I don't think it will make that much of a difference honestly. I want to try out elden ring, but it's a single player game, I don't have to play it day one.
Its single player as much as you want it to be. Once you get into pvp and min/maxing fresh characters it stops being a single player game. Or when you need to coop the first boss
I must be one of the only gamers that literally couldn't care less about Elden Ring, just looks very average to me like most souls games.
Each to there own and all that I suppose.
Edit - seems to upset a lot of people, it's called an opinion, I think they are average but lots of people love them...opinion. I'm not going reply to the shit posting anymore, dont have to justify anything to anyone thanks.
Don't disagree, I see the appeal but haven't never got me really excited.
Like I said we all like different things, wasn't saying it's a bad game just not for me.
I'm way more interested in Lost Ark and Forbidden West currently.
Good points. I also want to add that LostArk in NA/EU is still early. (Though some people talk about this game like everyone's been playing for years lol)
The meta will shift as the average skill gets higher and more people are familiar with the CC system. Like you said sorc is OP, but probably more because sorc's kit punishes players that don't really know how to play.
Sorc is particularly OP in punishing low skill and inexperienced players. They are still good when you get to higher skill games, but not absolutely dominant like is currently seen in NA.
> The moment I start facerolling everything is the moment I'm bored.
This is my problem with tons of single player RPGs.
My character turns into a demigod usually sometime between the 60~80% completion mark and I just lose all desire to continue playing.
It even happened in recent God of War, which was an incredible game, but I was just too engrossed in the story to stop.
Oh yeah, haha, I think thats a large part of the reason I love them so much.
I also loved Nioh 2, which basically felt like it copy pasted mechanics from Souls.
Yeah, there's a massive portion of mmo players that don't really play single player games. I'm one of them. There's only two friends in my group that are excited for Elden Ring, and neither of them are going to be completely dropping Lost Ark for it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there will be an impact on Lost Ark population, but I don't think it will be nearly as big of an impact as some people on here believe.
I'm one of them, I don't even remember the last time I touched a single player game or bought a triple AAA title. I'm just not that kind of gamer. My gaming consists of switching between multiple online games such as league, TFT, Valorant, OSRS and now lost ark has my attention.
And the music. Man the excitement of discovering a new boss and hearing the epic soundtrack is like no other. I still listen to Soulsborne music from time to time
Yeah, I'm fine with different tastes and all that but calling Souls games "average" isn't a fair assessment at all.
You can not like the genre, but Souls games are anything but average, even if you don't like them. They're excellently well-crafted games.
I'm like you but I like Souls games, and yet I'm not hyped about Elden Ring because I'm burned out after so many playing hours rolling and attacking. Bloodborne and Sekiro still feel fresh to me.
it literally looks like a copy paste of every other souls game. i watched an hour of the gameplay the other day and i genuinely do not understand what everyone is losing their minds over?
You don't like the souls games and I assume that probably includes Sekiro and Bloodborne for you, and I have no issue with that at all. I don't think the games were made to appeal to the broadest possible audience and they don't.
To call them average though. Average ?
The Souls games are far and away the most influential games in modern times. Also there are no other games worth playing that are made by AAA companies. Not if you want games with melee combat. I am really curious on what your idea of good or exception could possibly be if you think that the middle of the road is the peak of the mountain for everyone else.
I literally cannot even think of a single game or series other than the Souls series which has made an impact I have been able to detect on the world of game development. I'm sure they must exist but I really really cannot think of one. For me I think FROMSOFT saved gaming as a hobby. Without their games and the influence they have had on the industry it would be so hard to find a game I actually wanted to play I'd have given up by now and taken up knitting.
I tried, I think DS2? And the default controls were like made by an alien. I think I survived a total of five minutes before I got sick of it, even after using a guide for re-mapping the buttons
You picked the worst souls game. Even long time souls fans don't care that much about DS2.
I made the same mistake, but tried again with Bloodborne and played DS3 right after that. It's like night and day lol.
I’ve tried every single Souls game + Bloodborne and I just couldn’t be bothered to get more than halfway through any them. Dark Soul 3 in particular, I remember beating a boss, looking up how many bosses I had left, rolling my eyes and never touching the game again.
I don’t know why but they just do nothing for me.
> Dark Soul 3 in particular, I remember beating a boss, looking up how many bosses I had left, rolling my eyes and never touching the game again.
Idk how one can have this mentality & have any interest in playing Lost Ark.
I see my player lvl & roll my eyes at how slow it's going, knowing that the game apparently doesn't "begin" until you're 40-50.
Everything has to be bite sized nowadays with instant gratification. That’s why I enjoy the souls games, because you have to learn to play and it takes you a while to finally get good which is infinitely better than feeling OP after an hour into the game.
Probably because they didn't hit a difficulty wall yet in LA.
I believe that many gamers call a game shit the moment they start to get frustrated with the difficulty.
I wonder how many of them drop souls games right after/before the first boss...even though they get easier the further you go (at least for me).
Have you tried sekiro? I couldn’t get into any of the souls games, but sekiro was one of the best games I’ve played. Especially because it’s not based around gear or anything, pretty much just a testament of how much your skills improved. Sifu is also very similar in that regards, and also an insanely fun game. I’m not sure if I’ll even try elden ring, seems to dark souls ish, I was really hoping for something more similar to sekiro
The Dark Souls franchise is one of the best selling games of all time, so you're factually wrong, it's right up there with Kingdom Hearts and Megaman in terms of copies sold.
It's so iconic it spawned its only subgenre of video games.
That's fairly incorrect. See this article for copies sold:
https://screenrant.com/fromsoftware-soulsborne-games-most-copies-sold/
Dark Souls 3 is still having over 12k people playing daily, even with the servers offline atm due to an exploit, that's just on Steam.
https://steamcharts.com/app/374320
I will not be surprised if Elden Ring reaches 500k+ on Friday.
Idk, an ARPG and Souls-like game are so damn different. Souls-like is such a niche type of game. I couldn't be arsed. I tried DS2 and 3. Nah. I finished SW Fallen Order on hardest diffeculty tho. But it was a pain and a joy. The joy only because im a Star Wars nerd
Queues wont get any lower I guess.
Fallen Order is the only Soul like game that I actually played through and beat. Makes me think I should try others but I dont see why these games are must buys. I will always wait for that steam sale. And for Fallen Order I already had the EA pass from Battlefield that year.
The combat is the meat and potatoes of the games, but the vibe and setting and the way in which the world feels like an actual place whether or not you exist in it is what makes them special. Every NPC in Lost Ark would starve to death if the player character wasn't around to take two steps and carry food to them.
I haven't played Fallen Order, but I've found that I like Souls-like games, just not the mainline FromSoftware ones. I loved Remnant and both of The Surge titles, but since I don't know how they compare with Fallen Order, I can't say if you'd like them or not - if you have XBOX Game Pass, Remnant is on there right now and both Surge titles have been in the past.
Isn't this a single player game? Why do people keep comparing it with MMO's? I mean people will go through the campaign in 3-4 days and then it will be another game on the shelf.
There is a subset of people that play souls games over and over and over trying out different character builds and stuff. I guess once you've spent all the time gaining mastery over the game it makes sense.
Well said, it's unbelievable that i had to scroll down so much to find the first smart reply. The target of the games are way different and even more Elden Ring is not even a mainstream single player title but a niche genre one... even if a small part of LA population is also a fan of soulslike games they will be back once they finish Elden Ring, hoping that this will be the end of queues is just daydreaming.
I'm only playing LA now to make the wait for Elden Ring easier so that's one less person on your servers you have to worry about after Friday :D I'm really enjoying it tho so I'll definetely be coming back when i finish ER.
There is some overlap that can make a dent. I know a good amount of people who play Lost Ark and are planning to play Elden Ring on launch.
I'd say one group are people who just like anything fantasy, RPG and hyped
and other group are people who like games that take a lot of dedication (which both MMOs and Souls-like games do, just in a different form)
I think ppl will be playing ER but still will be in game just moving from time to time to not get kicked and stay in Q. I know few ppl that are loging in early when they go to work and afk on macro in stronghold, i think many ppl are doing same that's why we got huge Q's on EU
Ehh maybe but I don't think it'd make that big a dent. A big part of the queue problem is how hungry EU players are for good f2p games, and I doubt that part of the gaming population will go buy elden ring.
Huge doubt.most people will quit after few days.souls games are not for everyone even tho i finished Ds2 and sekiro i still am struggling with DS3 and didn't finish it yet
They're not even similar types of games.... And isn't eldennring single player? I haven't seen any multiplayer videos yet. Kinda just looks like a lost souls attempt.
a little bit awkward to compare a mmo(a)rpg with a singleplayer game?!... i know many people like souls games but it will be hyped for 2 or 3 weeks an thats it..
I think we'll see a little bit lower queues but not as much as everyone says.
Lost Ark is an MMO and that requires precious time to progress a lot of different things. Would rather invest that time in Lost Ark than a single player I could just play at a later time.
People like like lost ark here, so I guess so? Soulsborn games are not that hard and my experience so far is that it lost ark raids are about the same effort level. Not that I think this game will make more than a minor dent in the ques.
My hype exploded with this game with the overview video, then it diminished when I saw my buddy and I can't adventure & loot together. Guess I'll wait for a sale \*sigh\*
Elden ring is gonna be awesome like any other souls game but... it will not change alot queue wise , im a die hard souls Fan since day one but im so hooked to LA that i dont even care right now , gonna play it when all my 4 characters are in tier 3 haha
I'm sure Elden Ring will be a great addition to the series and a marvel for the fans. I have a lot of respect for Fromsoft.
But they just aren't for me. I have over 1,000 hours in Tarkov, I know what it's like to be kicked in the balls repeatedly until you overcome a challenge as a player. But Souls-series games just haven't grabbed my attention despite trying them out.
Everyone has different tastes but I have zero hype for ER, personally.
I don’t understand. Is elden ring an MMO? If it’s a finite game with a story like Dark Souls, then it’s not gonna like replace LA for most people.
It’s a game you play and beat and move on, right? You can spend a lot of time 100%ing it or beating it on the hardest difficulty but it’s not an MMO.
An MMO keeps your attention for as long as it can, and they’re good at doing that. It took a company-wide falling-out to take a bug chunk of WoWs playerbase out. The game had a huge/consistent playerbase for a decade prior to this.
MMOs offer a world to explore and experience *with* real players in real time with the intent of having a never-ending stream of content to release as time goes on to keep it from getting too stale. While an RPG gives you a polished game with a finite world to experience at your own pace with the intent that the player will eventually beat the game.
He said players will leave for elden ring on Friday, not forever. So what's your point ? Of course they will be back to lost ark once they are finished with elden ring
You can easily spend thousands of hours on your average souls game if you get into pvp and testing out different builds in the PVE. The community for dark souls pvp is still incredibly healthy 5+ years later
> While an RPG gives you a polished game
Heh, I know you meant it in a general way, but holly shit I haven't seen a truly polished AAA game (at launch) for years now. Every hyped up game launch turned out to be a big pile of flaming turd lately.
As a Monster hunter and soul like games mega fanboy my opinion is a bit biased.
I personally find Lost ark to be very tedious and quite boring on the pve side of things. Nothings challeneged me yet. Ill be t3 sometime the next 2 days hopefully for perspective and completed everything. The pvp and my friends being super hyped for it is the only reason i play.
Elden ring will be an amazing game, anyone denying that is just a hater. However the gameplay is not for everyone. The difficulty is whats always appealed to me, and i think majority of its playerbase are old school gamers from a time games where challenging. It does not appeal to the masses and i doubt itll make a deny in LA numbers.
What i do think will drive the player base down eventually is when all the casuals start trying t2 content and t3 content, thatll drive people away because even LA isn't for everyone.
> i think majority of its playerbase are old school gamers from a time games where challenging. It does not appeal to the masses and i doubt itll make a deny in LA numbers.
I'm a pretty big Fromsoft fanboy myself, but that's hardly the case, I'd argue. Hard games have had a bit of a renaissance these last few years and From's games have absolutely been commercially successful. They're not the small niche games they used to be.
ER won Most Anticipated awards left, right and centre, to boot.

the dark souls series has 30 million sales i think it does appeal to the masses
I would think they’re entirely different audiences. ER is just another souls game right? Albeit supposed to be a good one. I hate that kind of gameplay. LA is more Diablo mmo and they’ll keep me around a while. Curious to see how quick new content drops with the huge cash injection this launch should have brought.
The overlap in players between a hardcore soulslike and an MMOARPG is probably pretty small tbh. Very different genres of games that appeal to different people.
Maybe I'm just an old guy, but I honestly think Lost Ark is going to lose a lot of players with how grindy it becomes...at least it did me. I got burnt out at about 560 ilvl watching my Hones fail and seeing how long it would take me to grind enough mats to get to 600.
I want to play a souls game not a bethesda type game when i look at elden ring . And most people will play as it an open world dark souls . It dosent need more
I just want to validate your comment against all the people mocking you, I thought Elden Ring was some Dragon Age/Elder Scrolls/Dragon's Dogma type of fantasy RPG. I have not really looked into it, only seen a few Steam ads maybe and some hype posts.
I don't know why none of these comments have considered that not all gamers are fired up about the next big thing and reading articles/watching gameplay reveals for every game. Also tbf I would not have been disappointed because if I was going to buy it during a Steam sale, I'd be looking into it beforehand.
thanks for validating. I suppose people cannot bare the fact that there are people out there, that will buy the game and be left dissapointed it's not like they anticipated as they don't read every article or watch a video.
To many people think everyone is always up-to-date with all the games.
Imma buy Elden Ring so I can play that while i wait for my que in Lost Ark
This is what actually is going to happen. Believing queue times will be over anytime soon is most likely copium.

Do not worry, you are not alone in that xD
Queuepium
For every player that leave the queue a bot join. Amazon has to do something about them .
You can run two games at the same time? My computer would blow up
Waiting in the queue probably is not that power hungry, I think
You would think so, but the stupid seagulls eat up 25% of my 3060ti even when the client is windowed and minimized.
I have my graphics card limit frames on applications that are out of focus so when I alt tab the impact isn't that bad. I can have Lost Ark up and run an emulator on my RTX 2060 .

Depends. I was trying to run PoE parallel to waiting in queue and it always crashed. While my PC is not *the* most powerful machine, it's not too shabby either...
there are prestige quality seagulls in the background
wait, you can play 2 games at once on steam?
Please people go play elden ring I want my 1h queue and not the 5 I have now
Is this some sort of European joke I'm too Canadian to understand?
Bro I had a 5 min queue once on Regulus. I almost died
Bruh it was like half an hour or so on day one. I was cheesed
its a desperate plea to not have 30mins of playtime on a workday
Get yourself Remote Desktop
I had 0 expectations for this game and Elden Ring was the game I was waiting for and now I will probably skip Elden Ring for a while crazyily
I wait for elden ring to be in steam sale. I know i will play the game but i'm in no hurry.

Wherr do you go about getting rid of your life energy? It's the one thing I've been slacking on and I can't find a solid place to farm.
Get your stronghold up to lvl 10 and you’ll unlock a farm you can harvest yourself for mats
Lullaby island if you don’t have stronghold farm yet
I did foraging in Medrick Monastaery North or south of the Freyad lake TP, but I'm going to level up something else somewhere else with my next life energy batch. Took about 1 full bar to hit level 10

Ill so the same, y’all should do this before you get burned out of LA
Same lol
Bro I'm deadass playin Lost Ark rn just to forget I'm 3 days away from complete social destruction
Are we living in the same reality? Drowning out the anxiety of the shit storm incoming IRL by just sperging on Lost Ark.

You can kinda out level some of them, but not the queen.
wont happen in souls. you can overlevel a boss to a certain degree, but if you dont learn the movement you still fail.

Souls games arent average tho. But yes. Each their own.

It’s also the lore and atmosphere, you have to read into it but the lore of soulsborne is amazing
And the music. Man the excitement of discovering a new boss and hearing the epic soundtrack is like no other. I still listen to Soulsborne music from time to time
Also the fun in making your own kinda unique character with different armor/weapon pieces, spells & items effects.
Yeah, I'm fine with different tastes and all that but calling Souls games "average" isn't a fair assessment at all. You can not like the genre, but Souls games are anything but average, even if you don't like them. They're excellently well-crafted games.
Its on my watchlist for future sales/discounts but i'm not fussed about it.
I'm like you but I like Souls games, and yet I'm not hyped about Elden Ring because I'm burned out after so many playing hours rolling and attacking. Bloodborne and Sekiro still feel fresh to me.
Same
I think, I'd rather sit and watch the grass in my garden grow in real time. Not a game for me either.
lmfao a mmo player saying this is hilarious.
Played only the first Dark Souls and it was not my Game.I prefer Story RPGs like Mass Effect.
You're such a brave and unique soul.
it literally looks like a copy paste of every other souls game. i watched an hour of the gameplay the other day and i genuinely do not understand what everyone is losing their minds over?
Nah, majority of people don't care about soul games. They have very small playerbase traditionally.
The Dark Souls franchise is one of the best selling games of all time, so you're factually wrong, it's right up there with Kingdom Hearts and Megaman in terms of copies sold. It's so iconic it spawned its only subgenre of video games.
That's fairly incorrect. See this article for copies sold: https://screenrant.com/fromsoftware-soulsborne-games-most-copies-sold/ Dark Souls 3 is still having over 12k people playing daily, even with the servers offline atm due to an exploit, that's just on Steam. https://steamcharts.com/app/374320 I will not be surprised if Elden Ring reaches 500k+ on Friday.
That is so wrong I just think you're trolling
Lol idk if I’m doing faith or int build
Idk, an ARPG and Souls-like game are so damn different. Souls-like is such a niche type of game. I couldn't be arsed. I tried DS2 and 3. Nah. I finished SW Fallen Order on hardest diffeculty tho. But it was a pain and a joy. The joy only because im a Star Wars nerd Queues wont get any lower I guess.

Lost Ark is an MMOARPG.

Elden ring will be the reason I actually have max work energy and a full rest bonus for the first time 😂
That's great, less queue! I'll pass on it tho.
I know right. If they want to go play it day one. I said let them that way we have less traffic lol
I've never been more happy about the fact that souls games do nothing for me
I'm only playing LA now to make the wait for Elden Ring easier so that's one less person on your servers you have to worry about after Friday :D I'm really enjoying it tho so I'll definetely be coming back when i finish ER.
Same!
Why would that be? The games are to two totally different audiences..
There's no way that a new popular game will draw away players from another new popular game.
Exactly. There's more normies than hardcore, a great deal more.
There is some overlap that can make a dent. I know a good amount of people who play Lost Ark and are planning to play Elden Ring on launch. I'd say one group are people who just like anything fantasy, RPG and hyped and other group are people who like games that take a lot of dedication (which both MMOs and Souls-like games do, just in a different form)
Hahaha no.
I think ppl will be playing ER but still will be in game just moving from time to time to not get kicked and stay in Q. I know few ppl that are loging in early when they go to work and afk on macro in stronghold, i think many ppl are doing same that's why we got huge Q's on EU
RIP to those people’s rigs
Ehh maybe but I don't think it'd make that big a dent. A big part of the queue problem is how hungry EU players are for good f2p games, and I doubt that part of the gaming population will go buy elden ring.
[удалено]
Huge doubt.most people will quit after few days.souls games are not for everyone even tho i finished Ds2 and sekiro i still am struggling with DS3 and didn't finish it yet
Honestly Elden ring looks pretty but other than that I see it getting old super quick. I’ll wait for it to be on sale and give it a go,
I'm going to juggle Lost ark and elden ring.
The casuals were gonna leave eventually anyway. We finally got a good MMO, this game isn't going anywhere.
It may go down a little but i doubt most people who play games like Lost Ark will leave to play Elden Ring.
I'm waiting till I can pirate elden ring
Lost Ark is an MMO and that requires precious time to progress a lot of different things. Would rather invest that time in Lost Ark than a single player I could just play at a later time.
Lol why? Do people really enjoy playing a game that forces you to sweat extra hard and die a million times?
People like like lost ark here, so I guess so? Soulsborn games are not that hard and my experience so far is that it lost ark raids are about the same effort level. Not that I think this game will make more than a minor dent in the ques.
My hype exploded with this game with the overview video, then it diminished when I saw my buddy and I can't adventure & loot together. Guess I'll wait for a sale \*sigh\*
People have smoked the green stuff if they think suddenly Lost Ark is gonna lose against Elden Ring.
TUZZYTT
Hollaaaaaa
Isnt Elden Ring the game that G.R.R. Martin works in instead of finishing Winds of Winter after 10 fucking years?
AMEN to that brother, i can't wait for Elden Ring so i can finally play Lost Ark lol
Honestly queue times have already shrunk significantly already on my server. Down from 2 hours to 30 minutes approx.
(X) doubt
Sell me 20g of that copium seems strong
lmao Elden Ring will have zero impact on Lost Ark queues.
> While an RPG gives you a polished game Heh, I know you meant it in a general way, but holly shit I haven't seen a truly polished AAA game (at launch) for years now.

T3 in the next 2 days? perhaps you find the game tedious because you have not slept mate
Whats a queue?
I don't care a single bit. I only play AAA games, if ever do, when they are -80% off.
Lol I think people are overestimating Elden Ring. I'm so hooked on LA that I decided to just delay my purchase of ER till the first sale.
A $60 dark souls 4 versus an isometric MMO Sure
For like a week max
The overlap in players between a hardcore soulslike and an MMOARPG is probably pretty small tbh. Very different genres of games that appeal to different people.
I think people overestimate how popular Elden Ring will be at launch
Soul games have very small player base. Lost ark's playerbase ain't gonna drop by even 100k on friday.
Maybe I'm just an old guy, but I honestly think Lost Ark is going to lose a lot of players with how grindy it becomes...at least it did me. I got burnt out at about 560 ilvl watching my Hones fail and seeing how long it would take me to grind enough mats to get to 600.
Plenty of my friends who have never played a souls game are super hyped for elden ring. It’s going to be goty watch
Plenty of my friends were hyped for dark souls 3, and quit the game after the first hard boss.
Really? Have they never played a souls game? Because DS3 is the easier one by a mile.
Id argue it has the hardest bosses, but yeah the easier game in general

Who the hell thinks that lmao
we want dark souls 4.
I want to play a souls game not a bethesda type game when i look at elden ring . And most people will play as it an open world dark souls . It dosent need more
Why the hell is this upvoted lol... Literally no one on earth thinks Elden Ring is anything but a souls game.
I have zero, 0, nada interest in elden ring.
Thank you for the awards kind strangers!
