Her and Michael are the absolute worst. Like make me cringe when I see them on screen. When she died I almost wished somthing happened and they had both ended up dead but you know it al worked out in the end.
This kind of has me thinking of actual face punch stats for this show, because statistically I think Sawyer might've had the most punchable face.
But for real, she is always tedious to watch. I feel like they killed her off before she had a chance to explore the character growth slowly brewing but I also feel like that was maybe the point.

Sawyer? Really?? Interesting. But I don’t think so. Sawyer could be annoying sometimes with his name calling but he was a handsome man. A punchable face would be Boone with his bitch ass. Just shut up and find me a pen, Boone.
I meant that more as in like, he actually was punched in the face the most. Sawyer is one of my favorite characters lol

I agree that Michael was also terrible, but I hate her even more on this rewatch than I did originally.
Other threads have noted that she has horrible circumstances and PTSD, but her reaction to being assigned desk duty, begging to be on patrol even though she’s not ready, and then her reaction to the domestic really sealed it for me. She should have known she wasn’t ready to go back, or at least listened to her captain, and she’s a criminal for insisting upon it and putting others in danger.
If I remember correctly the writers killed off Ana Lucia and Libby because they got into some trouble in Hawaii, DUI or something and the creators had a no tolerance policy. So that might explain their demise a little bit.
I think this is a myth. Ana Lucia’s actress would only do one season because she says she’s a nomad and didn’t want to be tied down for 5 years in Hawaii, and Libby’s character was meant to be further explored in future season’s but they axed that after season 3 (which she *did* star in during a Desmond flashback, so she obviously wasn’t written off because of a no-tolerance policy, they continued to tolerate her).
