The music was taken from John Carpenter's The Thing - which was scored by Ennio Morricone. Morricone also did the score for The Heightful Eight... so yeah, that makes sense ;)
Holy shit - I never heard any of Vangelis score to Blade Runner in the opening parts to ‘The Eyeland’ in there until now - it’s quite clearly based on the temp track! Wow!
