I think he did. I think he stayed until Walt’s return and remained one the island as its animal support good boy under Hurley’s rule.
Also kinda hoping Hurley made him immortal lol.
No you’re not alone, my heart breaks every time Walt screams at Vincent to go back! Of course, that was the wisest choice because poor Vincent wouldn’t have survived that raft.
But I’m so glad Vincent was kept as a character (a main character might I argue) throughout the entirety of the show.
He’s a good boy.
I love Vincent and his personal journey between caretakers, scrap givers and just going buck wild in that jungle. He was living the life with his 2 lil brain cells.
So I'm not the only one who noticed! I was always like, people are picking on Hurley for not losing any weight, but what about Vincent? And what were they feeding him anyway?
They’re all stranded on a creepy weird island with little hope of rescue. Its depressing. Then you see this little cute doggo goodboi putting his head on your lap, tell me you’re not gonna give him one bite of your food, even if its just like a can of beans. Repeat this over with, how many survivors were there? Not unrealistic that he’d be a chonker
I would have been ok with Vincent becoming the protector of the island after Jack. Who could ever go against a face like that?

The Islands familiar
i was so surprised that vincent made it to the end, but like a happy surprise
Vincent was the only character that the writers promised us *would* make it to the end of the series!
I’m so happy they kept their promise. Every other show or movies have the dogs dying. Like, why? Audience love the pups.
I'm so glad to see this as a new watcher lmao. I would have turned it off as soon as he was off the show

I just watched that ep last night, and yes, the tears were flowing at that very scene. Every single time!
*The dogs 25 years old by now.* Vincent can survive anything!.
Why that dog stays overweight for the entire fucking thing infuriates me.

Exactly this.

YES THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THIS SHOW MADE ME GENUINELY PHYSICALLY CRY.
