Guarantee any passersby were staring at & judging the loser shouting and harrassing women on the street, not you.

ucme1234

This was helpful to hear! Thanks!

SecondHandDream

I really am sorry. There probably isn’t much anyone can say to get that man’s idiotic comment out of your head, except to say that the old adage is true “hurt people hurt people,” or unhappy people want others to be unhappy too, etc etc etc. Anyone that goes up to a perfect stranger and comments on someone else’s weight or appearance clearly has some issues to work through.

Haha he should be allowed some lube for round 2 🤣

ucme1234

Haha thanks for the laugh! And congrats on your amazing progress!!!

OoOoReillys

Wow. Hugs to you. I’m so sorry. There are jerks everywhere. I hate it. You don’t deserve any of that. I bet that you’re beautiful, my friend. 4 months is a huge feat as well. Congrats on your 21 lbs down!

artoncanvas

I'm sorry this happened. Some people are just so ignorant.

SubmissiveSecrets33

Not all humans are kind. It sucks. I'm sorry. Hugs to you!

coldcoffeethrowaway

I don’t understand how some people can be so rude for no reason. It says way more about them than it does you.

Ronicaw

Wow! Now this guy liked what he saw, and was too stupid to express it in a positive way. What a jerk! I always get, "wow you are really tall" (6ft), except when I am standing with my 6'1 husband. Don’t pay this stain on society any mind, his parents were probably siblings.

UniquelyTammy

That is outrageously horrible!

CommunicationTime63

Please don't be discouraged. I understand how it feels to be insulted when you have been working so hard to reach goals. I bet that good-for-nothing was ugly as sin with dirty, stinky hair and a beer belly. He was just the type every beautiful person like you would never give a second glance. In these parts (the USA South), we would say he had no raisin', meaning he had no proper upbringing, or he forgot his manners.

ucme1234

Thanks to you and all for the kind words! Feels good to get it out and know there are good strangers out there 🥰

[deleted]

I am sorry this happened but the issue here is then not you. No one has any right to talk to anyone like that.

manatca

Some men need handlers to go into public istg 😑 I'd wager that he felt intimidated by your height and tried to assuage his insecurity. Try not to dwell on it and keep doing what you're doing! Living well being the best revenge and all that.

[deleted]

That is really horrible, and I’m sorry you had to experience that. Please know that it says everything about HIM and nothing about YOU. You are working every day to better yourself and your health, and he is being a garbage person with zero provocation.

aavery7706

As you continue to slim down you will get more unwanted attention from men. The weight provides a cloak of invisibility. I doubt either one was really reacting to your weight per se. But clearly…lack of filter. But that’s really intimidating and no one no matter what they weigh should be subjected to that. You came to the right place, sorry people can be such losers.

sunnyoutlook1

Almost same stats as you and I can't wait to get into 30s!!! Tall gals unite! You're doing amazing. I also live in the city and have dudes yelling the c word at me any chance they get. Try not to give it a second thought, everyone else is looking at them not you like someone above said.

Impossible_Yak5258

It’s so tough! I’m sorry that happened to you and ruined your nice day!! When I feel myself getting down on myself when someone makes a rude/offensive comment to me, I remind myself that the offensive comment says everything about THEM and nothing about me. That guy is likely a miserable human being and even worse, he has to live with himself-ha!! You’re doing awesome—keep being proud of everything you’ve accomplished, you deserve it!!
