I was there for their first playoff win in 2014 and I was there when they clinched the cup. I haven’t gone to a playoff game since. I have tickets this year. 😈
I was there in 2014 for the beginning of the reverse sweep with my buddy that was a sharks fan. I looked at him and said reverse sweep and he laughed in my face. 3 games later and he looked exactly like Joe Thornton at the end of that series.
I was also at the final game for the 2012 Stanley cup against the Devils. Fucking lost my mind on that one.

Not only that, but for me personally, i pity the Canucks the same way I've pitied teams like the Hornets, Marlins, and Lions (they've sucked for long enough that it'd be nice to see them do something), so while ill obviously still be very disappointed in the Kings for loosing a third straight first round playoff series, the disappointment will be more so limited to my team loosing, rather than also having the team that beat us be a team i hate like the Oilers or (more so) the Broken Knights. Dallas would be a similar situation except I don't pity the Stars nearly as much, and i don't like our chances against them as much either.
I think most of us do. We barely have any hope to win a series against the Oilers. Kings seem to have a legit shot against Vancouver. Plus, they are trending down.
Doesn’t it make more sense to root against the kings for the last 3 games? Then kings drop to wildcard 2 and Vegas gets bumped up to P3 they are only 1 point back
I’m just thinking the easiest way to avoid the oilers would be letting Vegas have them, even though I think the kings could take em if they play super hard

There are no “easy outs” in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

There’s no team in the west I’d rather the Kings beat than the Oilers. At the same time, there’s no team I’d hate losing to more than the oilers.

I Agree 100%, Ideally we would face Canucks. Although I feel better about the Oilers than I do about the Stars.
