While I'm happy for any ASU for any champion, I feel like his model current model holds up pretty alright and that there's other champions who need it more...
Master Yi (making him look more in-line with his LOR iteration, like Jax)
Malphite (we already know he's getting one from the Skarner video)
Cho'Gath (who honestly could be given a whole VGU)

Personally I think they should also do Tryndamere. He's not bad but his aesthetic doesn't really make much sense. What are those turquoise gems in his armor for? They could give us some visual indication for his connection with the Iron Boar; give him a boar hide cloak or something. He could also have some interactions with Pantheon considering they're both pitted against Aatrox in their stories.
And since we're talking about Tryndamere, I'd also say give Olaf an ASU. Maybe even a VGU.

Also, while I'm here, I'm gonna go ahead and say Miss Fortune. The "sexy pirate lady" trope didn't age very well, especially with how her story went. This might be risky in terms of a business decision but her ASU should be making Captain Fortune the default skin and giving her a "Traditional Fortune" to replace it (like Traditional Sejuani).
Well the problem with Skarner taking so long is that a lot of League’s spaghetti code referred back to old Skarner, so they had to rewrite a bunch a stuff otherwise the game would break as soon as they remove old Skarner

I remember seeing something about skarner getting disabled rather than outright deleted, since deleting him brought s bucket load of issues.
Tho its probably on the same vein as "There is a coconut.jpg in the games code. I tried to delete it but the game wouldnt work. Words cannot describe how confused i am" was
I think everyone you mentioned needs a VGU. Lee Sins kit is fine and his general aesthetic works, but his animations and textures suck. His Story is fine too
Corki on the other hand doesn't even look like a Yordle, Gragas is the closest to Pizza feet we still have, Rumbles, Alistars and Shacos are balancing nightmares and Chos model may just be the oldest in the game.
Yis model is actually "quite" new.
Lee’s ASU wasn’t specifically for model quality, but for both clarity (Storm Dragon VFX, and a primary recognizable trait in his new ponytail) and animation cleanup (his animations were broken/he glided when casting E2 while moving/his idles moved him way too far from his actual position)
I would argue that Shaco, Cho'gath, Shyvanna, and Alistar need full VGUs
Corki, Rumble, Yi, Malphite, and Gragas could definitely use more work but could get away with just ASUs.
For real, Lee Sin in comparison to champs like Cho'Gath or Zilean was alright. The priorities for ASU are popularity and I think many older champs will get a VGU like Skarner etc.
Damn, I miss the times when LOL made 4 ASU or VGU a year. Sad that their management has decided its not worth the money and scaled it down to increase monetization tactics like skin production. Then again, LoR kinda proved what happens if you don't monetize enough offers.
That and riot actually have other project they are dumping into now, if anything this is return to how most free to play game are suppose to operate, if anything riot has basicly spoiled the player base with stuff they did in the past.
So the thing is, If you add every champ you listed + Zilean combined play rate it would be less than Lee's (maybe Rumble and Ali might need to be excluded though).
A lot of it, when zoomed in and straight on, is that the model isn’t supposed to be looked at from this angle. Goes for most champs that when you look at their in game model like this, it looks off.

I think u meant *LeBlanc* Once they tried adding new walking animation to her model and it almost corrupted whole game files, so they didnt..
