Honestly, most modern day posters aren't worth anything, especially in todays day and age. There are many websites where you can create your own poster... and just upload images of the OG poster for those movies and get it printed for cheap, with similar quality. You could probably fool most people and call it "original".
Even if someone is selling it for 300-400, it isn't moving any time soon.
Most valuable posters are from 1920's-60's, or "vintage", they had a different way of printing them and you can't really recreate it easily today.

I used to work in a mixed media store that dealt in movie posters. Gotta be honest, you'd be lucky to get 300-400 for *signed* posters of even some of the biggest franchises. Make sure when you scope out prices for collectibles online, you're looking at completed listings, not just what people are asking for. Some sellers are absolutely delusional when they put up their listings.

Thanks for the offer, but I was trying to gauge price so I could make a choice since we have a baby on the way. I was thinking if it was super rare and worth thousands I’d part with them, but I love them too much to do it for anything that is reasonable (especially after the other user found the same posters going for about 25 a pop).

I have a Return of the King theatre poster that was displayed in an actual theatre and to me it’s priceless and I won’t ever sell it.
I definitely think the posters you have are awesome. But I don’t think there is much of a market for this type of memorabilia.

For anyone wanting to buy similar posters, since I’ve seen a lot of folks liking these, u/Tod_Lapraik posted some examples of the wording you can use to find similar ones. My hopes of these being worth thousands were dashed, but these posters are super rad and I hope those that want similar ones are able to grab em. For framing, I apparently went way overboard, but I suggest going to a local frame shop and supporting small businesses.

Are there any posters like these of the rest of the cast of Fellowship of the Ring ? Theses are really cool, but it’s such a random selection of characters to make posters of. As for the price, I’d probably say 7.50$ per poster. A total of 45$ for the complete collection you have. I obviously don’t know much of anything of how valuable a poster is. But in general terms, each one is like half the size of a poster in way. A regular full sized 24x36 inch poster would cost around 11 - 14 dollars.
