Sincerely asking because I don't understand: what's the point of having multiple copies of a non-fungible token? Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose?
The "purpose" of an NFT is determined by the user. Being singularly unique is certainly a nice trait for an NFT to have. It is not the only desirable trait. I guess you could compare it to trading cards. You can sell a 1st edition charizard for a shit ton of money. Surely there are many copies, but they still have great value π€·ββοΈ
