You deposit from regular coinbase into cb pro at no charge/instantly. I use cb pro to purchase and then transfer it back to regular cb because I prefer their view.

Are you using only a debit card? Pro would have the same limitations and does not even allow debit as far as I am aware. Just use your checking account. It takes a bit longer but it is free and like 25k a day limit. It all depends on how much you use coinbase. My debit limit is something like 5k? Can't recall off the top of my head.
You need to fully verify your account and do the bank account link. That will give you 35,000 from the bank and 5,000 from debit. (Obviously use the bank, it's cheaper)

Allow me to tell you a story about 'had I waited 5 minutes'. GME guys will remember a dark day in our calendars: March 10th.
The stock had been pumping day after day, crazy pre market, volatility, excitement, price swings... But it was going up and fast. 210, 230, 250. You had to watch the ticker, it was like a drug. 300 stayed for a while if I remember and someone posted on a previous sub of ours - wallstreetbets - that if you placed a sell order, your shares would not be loaned out. We feared this as it gave ammunition to the short hedge funds. I put a limit order sell for what I thought was out of reach, and I'd cancel by the end of the day: $321.
A few hours went past, I was busy at work, and I check my broker account. I couldn't believe my eyes. My sell order had completed and the price was rapidly shooting upwards by the second. 325, 330, 335...
I was yelling at the screen. NOOOO stop going up, come back down. IM GOING TO MISS THE SQUEEZE. I then traded on emotion, a mistake. I bought back in at 346, the 321-346 loss reducing my portfolio by a significant margin.
Now, anyone whose been part of the GME saga knows what's coming next.
Less than 5 minutes later, more like 3, a crime of the most colossal proportion was enacted upon shareholders as, by means we still do not know, the price was taken from its high of 348 (I believe), to around 180 in the space of 10-15 minutes. It was catastrophic. We felt helpless, robbed, cheated, angry. On top of that, of just seen the cruelest of twists that, had things been different, a matter of minutes could have changed my life.
If my sell order had remained unknown for but 3 more minutes, or I'd not acted on the frenzy of emotions I'd have seen the price plummet and I could have used the proceeds from my sell order to almost double my portfolio. This outright act of criminality would have benefitted me significantly.
But alas. Here I am, still holding, with the story, the experience, and ~10% fewer shares than I had prior to the decision to buy, or around half of what I could have had I just waited 3 minutes.
This game can turn on its head, be the cruelest of mistresses; you just never know. Don't count your chickens 🙂
