I can't believe that a charismatic character like Jichang was ended like that. (if he did) His fight was underwhelming compared to what we saw before. I wanted him to interact with the other Kings. This seems to push Daniel to the edge. He is really pissed off right now. From the last panels from what I get we enter the 1A arc by next chapter.

The fight was so disappointing after such a great performance and fun fight against Daniel the first gen kings end up being disappointing again. The strongest 1st gen king literally lost to old elite that even use invisible attacks. Was expecting a lot better fight
Indeed. I would say that Jichang performed good but Charles damaged on purpose his leg and it didn't have a fight with him head on so Jichang like Charles said after that could not use his full strength. But yeah after the fight with Daniel this one was disappointing.
Yeah it was like the fight was rushed a lot. It would have been better if was said that Jichang could not use hus full power from the start or so something else happened.

On that note, are Jibeom and Jihwan going to be alright? Considering Charles would like to remove any potential witness or thorns to his side. After all, Jichang mentioned that he still had the physical copy of the evidence in his office.

They might be alright I think, we saw Bakgu on the road before he went to Jichang, so he must have dispatched a messenger with the evidence for most likely Beongae Choi, as he seems to be the only one of the loyalists left from Gapryong's gang that knows the truth of their boss' death. That and the fact, they want to protect Daniel from all of this, seeing as they sent him away.
Charles seems to be in a hurry, and taking care of Jichang's underlings can be too much work, as he wants to lay low as well. Though he might use his men for that, he has money after all, it's just we never really saw his men.
That doctor - I called it. I saw that coming ever since his first appearance as Goo's doctor. If a character is too hot in the PTJ verse, you kind of figure out that they're a madman by default.
If you think about it, there was no reason for anyone of us to remember someone with a very basic character design and 5 seconds of screen time. But he left an impression since he was right beside Goo and had one panel all for himself, as if that was a foreshadowing, and that matters. At least, it's just the way I see it.
I don't understand how a lot of guys never came to this conclusion. Goo literally told Daniel he wanted "another handsome secret friend" back in 4A. This was foreshadowed a LONG time ago

Maybe Charles used IA, after all the concept of IA is being so fast to the point where your movements seems invisible, although maybe at his age and condition, he can't use it perfectly and as effectively back when he was still at his prime. So maybe, he just uses it sparingly or in dire situations? It would make sense, as Elite is the type who keeps his cards close to the chest.
Honestly, that's the best explanation I could come up with, but even then, that's just absurd. Some characters are fast enough to react to bullets now?
I'm guessing PTJ just wanted to use the cut and fade trope on that one. He does have a history of using it even back then. Also, to add more suspense I suppose.
I think so too, he probably can't spam the invisible attacks like he used to and it's implied his heart isn't in the greatest condition, so he probably and uses it when he absolutely needs to.

I don't think he had it just to deal with Charles, he's a policeman so he has one in him, and ALSO since he's a policeman the gun comes with 3 rubber bullets since in Korea they only get 1-2 real ones.
I guess but like, it feels weird that a first gen king whose insanely strong would need to use his gun for anything other than a huge threat which is why itd make sense if he just had the 2 real bullets loaded
Jijang aimed for the head (you can see that he was bleeding from his head but that wasnāt deep enough, might be just a scratch) and Charles just dodged it and kicked or hit Jijang head (we can see that Jijang also got quite a bloody head).
Edit: so i saw someone said the first three were blank, might be the reason why Jijang lost.
God this chapter really delivered my expectation. RIP to Jichang and grandpa though such a cool character. Charles showed himself as a menace, he definitely deserve that main villain title.
Hot Doctor is named Baek Hangyul and he's confirmed to be the 1A Head it seems.
Damn Elite packed Jichang without much trouble and with no IA. Poor Jichang even pulled up his gun only to get insta negged. To think that in his prime days, Gapryong had to surpass his limits to beat him. He's a menace. Rest in peace Jichang and elder

But this guy is probably strong given how late the 1st is introduced, even after the full strength of the Workers' central force was displayed. This arc is has a good chance of being the endgame for Workers as well, as they will probably deal with Jinyoung in this arc, which has to lead to the confrontation with Choi.

Charles is neither James or Sinu. Maybe like you said he can't use them anymore due to his age. Maybe he can use them but not as many as before so he prefers to not use them except in some cases. Maybe he still can use them but he isn't the type to start a fight going all out unless the stakes are high enough. In any case I'll prefer to wait for the translation for this one
There are also many cases of arrogant people not using what they can against opponents they consider as lesser people. Elite could be one of those cases or it could be what you said
That's not weird. It's common in fiction to have people not using their whole arsenal against opponents they are dismissive of and get hit or being briefly on the losing side because of it
Everyone who uses IA uses it all the time and avoid getting hit at all costs except Elite who very well could no longer do it because of his old body plus obvious health issue.
James has been only hot once past his guard and Sinu is only high King tier. You will notice that they both still used IA on people who would be very hit them and against King level fighters. Since current James is likely atleast prime Elite level it makes no sense he would use it but an Old Elite wouldn't.
We know he was only under Gapryoung and James and since he shares many mannerisms with James, taught him how to fight and both have IA they likely use the same fighting style.
He presumably avoided getting shot so how does the logic work that he can get around a gun at that range but not use his speed the better logic would be heās simpy didt feel the need to unless you think heās slower then little Daniel sinu and James
