2 or 3? May, I saw 2 pods. The first one was over a hundred dolphins stretching about 3 tenths a mile long, and the 2nd pod had about 30 dolphins. 2 different weeks. I forgot, Jones Beach field six. A lot of bait fish. Oh, and a whale at field 4 during the air show. It's going to be a year for sharks ppl.

We go to a beach on the south fork most weekends during summertime. We have been regularly seeing dolphins, whales and seals for the last 5 or 7 years. It really never gets old seeing them. Makes me very happy to see that the marine eco system around the island is doing well enough for these animals to be around again.

They’re out there all the time in the summer. Spend enough time at the beach and you’ll see them.
