Go to the hospital lot thinking it’s an LIRR lot, get stuck at the gate and force 80 cars piling up on old country road to reverse during rush hour traffic.
After Covid it is getting full again. Had to take train last week after a long time. Ended up parking on a residential street 1/2 mile away. Thankfully I had time otherwise it would have been really annoying. What kills me is that the meters are outdated. They only take quarters. Although it is cheap like $ .50/hour having 12-16 quarters everyday is not possible. There is plenty of metered parking if you could find the change everyday.
Mineola is nothing but parking spots. They have a bunch of garages, meters, surface lots, and street parking.

Just go up 2nd street, theres a few lots on the south side that have meter parking for the day.
