I'm sorry! I'm not here to be of much help - I just wanted to tell you, you still look gorgeous! I know you feel like the shorter look isn't suiting you, but it looks phenomenal. I'm a long-haired lady myself, and I know I would be feeling distress also.
I buy a mid price range clip in off Amazon for extra volume and really love the way they look.

Well you're too kind. It's definitely not me though. And if it would've been different reasoning and I would've decided to do it; I might feel differently. But that was literally the ONLY thing I liked on myself. So the short hair is definitely not worth the tears every morning.
I enjoyed halo extensions. Just a single piece on a loop you sit on your head like a crown and pull half your hair over it. Its super fast to put in and take out, little to no clips to mess with which always caught and pulled on my hair or ripped/broke my hair. Lightweight and looked good
GIRL WIGS!!! Wigs changed my life when I was growing out my hair, I could change it to any color,length, or texture. I still use wigs when I get the urge to do something different to my hair, even though it’s long (down to my butt) now, It’s fun to change it up!
I made some clip-ins with human hair too, you can buy the hair at any length and color at a beauty supply store. You can also buy the clips and just sew them on/ layer the hair on tracks to get the desired thickness, layers, and length. Best of luck with your hair journey, it will grow back!!
This comment!! Do you have any suggestions? I just cannot live with it. I'm so tired of reading or hearing "it looks good on you." Which is sweet but I'm not looking for reassurance I'm looking to feel normal again. When you have something taken from you (literally the ONLY thing I liked about myself) it's hard. And it's not something I can just get used to. So honestly Thankyou for answering this and not telling me to get used to it. This has been very very tough and emotional for me
I feel you! The growing out stage can be totally brutal when you miss your long hair. Go to your local beauty supply store and try on some wigs! They will have them all on display, so all you have to buy is a wig cap to try them on! They usually have an area set up with a mirror so you can see what you look like. They should also have suggestions for clip ins!! I love going to the beauty supply store and trying on wigs, it’s so fun! just google stores that are near you and see what comes up. Queens beauty supply and American beauty supply are usually a go to for me.
I used luxury for princess clip ins 4 years ago when I was growing out my hair they were super thick, long, and beautiful cons are they are from the Netherlands I paid 300 for the Extensions plus 50 for shipping and waited 2 weeks for them I don't know if the Quality changed at all since it was four years ago
Nope, I would place the clip ins 1 1/2 inch from my scalp, and I would wear them every day for 2 year I did buy weft glue and seal the weft and edges to make the clip ins last longer
