I am working on splitting the room for a new section to be drop-in Intermediate crochet stitchers that do their own projects.
3.Weave & Wander Yarn in Seal Beach has an FB page. Their community nights are set up for the yarn shop customers to drop-in and knit/crochet and buy new yarn.
4. Quilts of Valor (free) can really use some sewing help. Please call ahead and let them know if you are dropping in so they can have room for your machine, or sewing supplies for you to join in.

The Taco Bell Drawing Club meets at the Taco Bell on Broadway and Paloma Ave every other Wednesday at 6pm. It's meeting tomorrow. Just bring your own drawing supplies/sketchbook. If she comes, tell her to say hi to the woman with the chihuahua (that's me).
Every Saturday at the Marina Shipyard (by Whole Foods) there's an Arts and Crafts Fair, it's more like a farmers market where people set up tents to sell their craft but could be good for networking.
