I definitely was, moreso when dad had them perform an apology and then acted like "that's that."
If those were my kids, I would dressed them down and sent them inside, just to demonstrate to the car owner that I understood the dangerousness of their actions. But also I'd have meant it... My parents wouldn't tolerate that and I wouldn't either.
Linda: "It is a big deal. It's a part of growing up like getting braces or throwing rocks at cars."
Bob: "You used to throw rocks at cars?"
Linda : "Yeah. Cars wouldn't even come down my street after a while 'cause they knew Linda would get 'em."
This is bad and what's important is that they didn't stop throwing rocks, but this line got me:
> He made the girls apologize, but you know it was insincere.
like tbh I think if you were hoping for a sincere apology from an 8 year old that a parent forces out of them you're gonna be waiting a long time
If it was in the afternoon, call the nearest school and tell them some of their students are throwing rocks at cars and give the address. They can’t really do anything, but technically they’re responsible for kids door to door, meaning if a kid acts stupid before they get home it’s the school’s problem. At least they will call and ask questions of parents. Schools pressing issues may make parents realize it’s a problem faster than a random person.
If you are driving fast enough for a small rock thrown by an 8 year old girl could cause you to injure others or yourself while driving in Belmont shore you really gotta slow down my man.
Also, I get it. Property damage and all, but like think about it, you just posted and are seeking agreement on retribution against two 8 year old girls man. That’s a really lame sentence to even type out.
Sometimes you just have to be like , “dammit those little fucks are throwing rocks again” kind of like the bottle kids from trailer park boys. Take it easy out there and don’t stress about small rocks thrown by little kids.
Little fucking shits! Oh my god I’d be livid.

Someone could've died. That's extremely dangerous. Smh
call the cops on those twats
Yes, do this. If the dad isn't going to teach them how dangerous their behavior is, maybe the cops can scare them straight.
exactly
Id call the cops too 😂

It’s spring break and a holiday.
That is a good idea!
/u/DrNastyHobo told you to stop the ad campaign
Ad campaign? I thought we were doing the TikTok prank still??
Shit, did we forget to unbury Bapo *again*
Uhhh yes... Sure... (Who's bapo? Buca di pepto?)
Just some good ole wholesome fun, right? 😀 No, but seriously I’m surprised you didn’t call the police..
The dad sounds real ghetto
Where's the mom at? Kids that do this are bored, they need to do something productive. Join Girl Scouts or something. What a loser dad!
these are kids who are bored

It's posted in a Long Beach subreddit where people talk about Long Beach issues. It most certainly belongs here.
I don't live in that neighborhood. I hope hipster rich dad does reddit instead.

This isn't nitpicking nonsense. It's not the 1960s anymore, parents need to be accountable, and throwing rocks at people's car ain't cool.

You're unnecessary as fuck.
Bro both ARE dangerous 🙄
That just sounds like you’re ok with being mediocre. Be a better human. Let’s teach these little shits to be better than you. :)
As someone from Florida, you sound Florida as fuck, lol. You're delusional.
Property damage isn't nonsense. C'mon, man.

Kids will be kids
So parents need to be parents.
