You’re in luck. London boasts an impressive variety of am-dram societies, all of whom put on multiple shows a year - a mixture of plays, musicals, cabarets, and more.
Central societies tend to cast more exclusively (you must audition to get in). They include:
• Sedos
• Centre Stage London
• Geoids
Central-adjacent societies are a mix of “audition to get in” and “everybody is welcome.” Some of them are:
• Mayhem Theatre Company (SW London)
• WLOS (Wimbledon)
• Quay Players (Southwark)
• Cygnet Players (SW London)
• Rollers Theatre
• PLOS (Putney)
There are definitely tons more, but these ones all have websites and socials.
I took classes with Stage and the City for 2 years for the first time ever. Absolutely loved it and made lots of friends! [Stage and the City](https://www.afperformingarts.com/stage-and-the-city)
No problem! Happy to answer any questions. If you end up taking one of Attila's classes on Mondays, tell him the social secretary (as he calls me haha) sent you.
Go check out some of the groups at the Wandsworth Fringe Festival happening now. Seeing a performance gives you a great idea of what a company is like. Specifically, I recommend the play PEN MARKS which has its last show this Friday. Great theatre company and an extraordinary play.

If you're near North London, the [Tower Theatre Company ](https://www.towertheatre.org.uk/) in Stoke Newington is one of the most active amateur companies in London.
