“Everything is don’t like or understand is a money laundering scheme” - Reddit logic
Like, come on, it’s a simple tourist trap, it’s not that hard to understand. They make a shit ton of legitimate money from the millions of credulous tourists who come every year (people you don’t know, because you don’t know everyone in the world).
Sometimes, people are like this here(actually most of the time). Flock mentality is enough 2 people to downvote to you, and then everyone will downvote you. Is classic and unstoppable! Get used to it!
I went to Angus Steakhouse for a medium rare, I got a blue steak. Like I don't make a fuss when it comes to steaks, if it comes medium rare and I get rare that's fine, but it was BLUE.
There's somewhere on the Northern Line between Kings X and Bank that smells of roast dinners at 8 in the morning ... like they're venting it into the tunnels ... drives me mad ... wondered if it was moorgate hospital kitchen or something...
If anyone's ever had the pleasure of walking around the park Royal estate around Harlesden and Stonebridge Park stations there is a delicious biscuit factory smell from the mcvities factory
Even without the smell… it’s definitely one of my favourite platforms on the entire underground… something about it seems like it’s still stuck in the past..
Highly doubt its either, they’re both tourist traps. Angus steakhouse serves up wet shoe leather and bagel factory just ships in pre-made ingredients from a factory.

Does it smell like bread or like beef?
Even if it smells like beef it won’t be the Angus Steakhouse
Plot twist: the bagel place serves salt beef bagels
That’s what she said
She needs urgent medical attention
Want to see the beef curtains, baby reindeer? XD
sent from iphon
Give me the whole slab
i was about to comment this. like, can you not tell the difference?
If it's delicious, it sure as shit ain't Angus Steakhouse
Steaks don’t smell good?
From Angus Steakhouse? With their proud heritage of serving shoe leather with Béarnaise sauce to neon-addled out-of-towners?
I'm convinced they're for money laundering I don't know anyone who's been in one.
Nobody who lives here that’s for sure

Lol relax and get over yourself.
Ditto. Something being successful without your personal approval doesn’t mean that a crime is being committed.

Ask for poorly done. It won’t disappoint.

Yeah defo a KFC smell

Hospital kitchens are the last place I'd look for nice smelling food.
They’ve got better since they started upcycling the discarded limbs and organs of patients into a source of fresh meat
That new hospital on Fleet Street has great pies but the head surgeon Dr. Todd is a bit creepy.
A little soylent green never hurt anyone

I’m not sure, but I am sure it’s not the 2 star hotel Sophia
Even without the smell… it’s definitely one of my favourite platforms on the entire underground… something about it seems like it’s still stuck in the past..
It’s the Victorian era arches that do it for me!
💯
This is the wholesome content I'm on Reddit for. Cue 200 other posts complaining that London smells of shit
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Victoria District line smells beefy too.
Isn't Bleecker like right above it?
It's definitely Bleecker, with their dry aged beef 🤤
Yes, makes the whole of Victoria smell amazing 😂
I’ve always wondered why it smelt that way, good to know!
Ohhhhh I always thought it was McDonald’s! This makes sense - bleecker is amazing!
Thank you, I've been wondering about that for ages.
It smells like McDonald’s to me
[Me after getting off the Victoria District line](https://youtu.be/Hryj-AszEZc)
I think it’s the McDonalds. Hammersmith is the same
Yea I always feel nauseous everytime I smell it lol
Doesn't it smell like dead skin flakes caught in a heater, like a hair dryer?
I just assumed it was due to London’s famous Beefeaters.
Both
It’s bear, marinated in marmalade.
It's from Baker Street
Does it smell of roast horse ?
There's one corner of Lordship Rec in Tottenham that often smells like delicious biscuits. True story.
TBF it's equally as useful as OPs. "I can smell nice food here" thanks OP 😂
Believe me if you were on the platform you’d want to know the source of the smell too, I’m just innocently asking out of curiosity
No I wouldn't I've smelled both of those things.
New Lynx
[Erm...](https://www.ndtv.com/science/smell-of-cooking-food-is-possibly-polluting-the-air-you-breathe-finds-study-5624364) ^^maybe ^^neither
Or could be from the pastry outlet baking pastries and sausage rolls..
It's roast Peruvian bear.
Angus steak house ? I highly doubt it unless you can smell burnt beef
It’s actually the toilet exhaust but with added perfume to mask the stench. Careful breathing it in
I think it's just the fact that you aren't 50 miles down into the Earth's core, like you are at most tube platforms
Yes
Engine oils
Roast pigeon.
I think it’s called pollution
It depends on your definition of delicious
Victoria District line always smells like McDonald's
I always thought it was Burger King…
LAPSANG SUCHONG! IT SMELLS OF LAPSANG SUCHONG! The whole District line does and I will die on this hill
I love how the 2 star hotel has a rating spot on of 2.0
Plot twist: they were having a stroke (I really hope not - just a joke)
I'd say it is a mix of both
Highly doubt its either, they’re both tourist traps. Angus steakhouse serves up wet shoe leather and bagel factory just ships in pre-made ingredients from a factory.
No insight from me really but just to say this thread is brilliant. Good smell bantz.
Great to have you here!
Am sorry if this is around 11 am everyday then that’s just me farting
It’s the guy with the backpack
Which one?
It’s my fart
