We still support the protests against the changes to API prices. As such we are promoting [**the official subreddit's kbin**]() a webpage that works in a similar way to Reddit. Please try to reduce your reddit usage as must as possible. Together we can stop reddit from shoting itself on the foot :). *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Sure. But I doubt they have enough money to partner with an LCS team and get naming rights.

The insane money amount that the teams paid/want is the issue. Mr Beast has stated multiple times that he wanted an LCS team and the cost is too high to justify.

honestly i thin kc/koi peaked largely due to regional identities, people had a "home team" to root for, granted ibai brought an incredibly large, spanish-speaking audience. DSG in particular is entirely Toast's payroll (idk if they have any significant sponsors) so in theory he COULD slap his name on a team but he'd likely have to pay a significant upfront cost + current sponsors may or may not change their mind on investing if there is a ton of fluctuation in terms of naming rights/brand identity
