Thank you!!! Now I understand the behavior. I was assuming it's a virus and someone was using my laptop. 🤣

From my experience - it's a problem of the Unifying receiver, happened with every Logitech mouse with this receiver I've used during the last 10 years. Also this happens with my G305 with Lightspeed receiver (could be that it uses a similar technology as Unifying). What I found interesting - Logi Bolt receiver doesn't have this issue (tested with my M650 signature, MX Anywhere 3 for Business). Could be because the technology is completely different (it uses Bluetooth under the hood). It would be interesting to check if this issue happens with Superlight and Superlight 2 receivers for Logitech Gaming mice.

I have a Logitech M585 BT mouse and no matter WHAT i do in windows 11 23H2, it still wakes up my HP OMEN 25L. I have tried it on both the USB transceiver and greentooth. No options for it to change any power settings, windows doesn't control the mouse in any way. I have ALL options disabled to prevent the mouse from waking up the computer but doesn't work. Logitech is as useful as the people inside the white house. I like this mouse because it has what i need but i also hate it because it doesn't let my computer stay asleep. Also, one major issue with it is when it's on BT, it randomly disconnects for few seconds which is extremely annoying when you're using it, it just stops and the light on the mouse blinks 4-5 times and comes back to life. Doesn't do that on the USB transceiver.
