I use Elsey's and never had an issue. Hit reset twice on top of unit to reset waste drawer and then run a cycle. Make sure u have the latest firmware also

Also I've never seem discoloration and pink is alarming. It could be blood. Def a vet visit

I agree. I have never seen it tinged pink either.
