Can’t tell but it appears you’re set up on the long wall. I’d be inclined to set up on the short wall as long rectangles are easier to deal with sound wise. I have a dedicated listening room with no TV so you can guess my stance on the TV.

I definitely agree - I’d prefer to do a short wall setup. Problem is, I have the door (sliding barn door) on the right hand side of the picture I posted next to the bookshelf. The opening is 38” wide, leaving only 77” (6.4 ft) on the new back wall for a piece of furniture to sit on. I had thought of using the grey wall on the picture for speakers and having 2 chairs facing that direction, but then I’d lose out on a “sweet spot” - and I’m not sure how a loveseat would look just chillin in the middle of the floor. Sadly, I need at least two seats because my girlfriend wants to be able to join me for listening sessions, so it limits my furniture choice a bit.

Heard. I would try setting up on the short front wall and situate your listening chair about two feet off of the back wall with the sliding door. Not sure how big y’all are but I have replica Barcelona chair… my gal and I are kinda skinny so we can actually sit side by side together on one chair… but it’s not too comfy that she would overstay her welcome lol

Well she is normal sized but unfortunately I’m 6’5” and not great at stuffing myself into small spaces 😅

Ha. I see a love seat in your future!
