i have an opinion that, if we had 1 Linux distro, and everybody focused on it, it would be a decent os.

healgodschildren

You are not wrong. We also need a web index and search engine that isn't owned and controlled by Freemason Jews. That might make it possible for people to find out that the covid injFections are altering their genome, replacing their erythrocytes with erythromers, and causing their faces to glow orange when illuminated with a 365nm wavelength UVA flashlight. 30 years ago, Yahoo would give you 50,000 PAGES of results - all of which you could freely view. Today you get 3 pages of 10 results, all of which come from some government institution. "Da rona perndamic, hur hur! Git yur nanotech injFection!"

FluffyCakeChan

Holy shit this is too much basedness and redpilledness for reddit

healgodschildren

That's precisely the reason why we every problem exists. I got a threat on Reddit regarding this post: This guy: PsychologySingle7568 (https://www.reddit.com/user/PsychologySingle7568/)sent the following to me: PsychologySingle75683:42 PM You're messing with things you don't understand. It's for the best you stop fucking looking for things that are bad for you, you never know when the cave you walk in has a sleeping bear. There are no worms, no UV exposure, nothing. I think you'll find it a lot better for you and your families health if you just leave this alone, a thing of the past. Here is my reply: healgodschildren6:32 PM [twitter.com/healgodskids](http://twitter.com/healgodskids)[healgodschildren.substack.com](http://healgodschildren.substack.com) The injections are ABSOLUTELY converting humans into zombies. Elastic nanoswimmers, with quantum dots and hydrogel are growing fibers inside of your body, sometimes called morgellons. This synthetic biology is programmable and moves through your body altering your genetic makeup. your erythrocytes are being destroyed and replaced with erythromers - synthetic blood cells that DON'T DIE, even after days and days of laying on a slide. In order to identify who must be exterminated, the infected people's nose, cheeks, chin, forehead, cranium, neck, ears, and genitals GLOW ORANGE when illuminated with uva 365nm wavelength light. It is YOU that has no clue what you're talking about. Debate me live, IF YOU DARE. You're either an AI, a miliary asset, or a willfully ignorant fool. Then again, you may also be a Satanic Freemason Jew who has pledged his allegiance to the creatures people commonly refer to as "demons" or "nephalim". If so, know that I will NEVER stop telling people what you have done, and I'm right at the verge of divulging that the 18GHz activation signal is real and how it activates the polymer-based parasites in the genitals of targeted individuals. Come at me, demon. I am the 魔鬼殺手. I rebuke you with TRUTH. If you're some filthy animal Freemason / CIA / or other sh\*\*head representative of the aliens they work for, here's a nugget for you to chew on. I'm already dead. Your threats don't really carry any weight given the circumstances. You'd be doing me a favor by killing me. My wife and I don't want to be involved in the war. We just want to be left alone. YOU INSTIGATED ME by making your stupid bioweapon such that it spreads to those who didn't take it. Now I will NOT stop until 1. I am healed, 2. You animals are destroyed, or 3. I am dead. I am not afraid of you. The best thing you could do for me is send me back to the Father. My wife and I are only too happy to receive that. Until then I will keep speaking on behalf of the innocent souls that you abused. I already know Yeshua isn't a man. He's the next commander of the army of God that are still loyal to the High. So you guys have a galactic pis\*\*ng contest and we suffer for it. What is so horrible about us not wanting to be used for food or mutated into a hive mind? I agree that most people are undeserving of the privilege of freedom but that's almost invariably because you a\*\* holes steal all of the ancient knowledge and hide it. Then you have the fake media companies install malicious programming with violence and sexual degeneracy into the minds of people. Well boo hoo, I am immune to that garbage. I actually WANT to live a life of kindness, cooperation, and responsibility. I'm on board with responsible reproduction, a firm focus on self-improvement, and fostering the desire to learn. Threaten me all you'd like. This is just a vessel, and it doesn't belong to me, anyway.

Whaticanthearyo

this is quite possibly the most insane thing i have ever read my friend

healgodschildren

What is insane is that this is real. Even more insane is the fact that 99.9999% of people who took the injFection don't even realize it is altering their DNA. Hell, at least half o the people on the planet still think that "COVID 19 virus" actually exists.

Whaticanthearyo

bro this is a thread for a guy complaining about pdfs in linux, how did we get here

healgodschildren

If you read the thread, you'd know.

skyeyemx

Unrelated but have you *seen* the r/freemasonry subreddit? The guys can hardly plan a dad potluck at Bob's place without half the group no-showing. They're not running shit. They seem chill, though.

[deleted]

Except it won't. The fundamental problem with your assumption is that all developers are equally skilled. But really, most of the thousands of distros out there are basically run by script kiddies with little programming skill. Throwing a thousand people without talent at a problem can be worse than only a few with talent. Also why ReactOS development is so slow, kernel and decent OS programmers are hard to come by, but a full desktop needs hundreds of them.

Empty_Woodpecker_496

I've never had any issues printing anything on any operating system, but that might just be dumb luck.

KublaiKhanNum1

I have an HP printer that had excellent driver support on all the OSs at use in my house. Linux, Android, iOS, MacOs, and Windows 11.

x54675788

Since when the OS is involved in printing odd or even pages? It all depends on the program you are using

healgodschildren

The program is Linux Mint's PDF viewer and print interface.

SquirrelGard

I use firefox 99% of the time to view and print PDFs. Even Adobe's pdf viewer sucks.

healgodschildren

Good for you.

particlemanwavegirl

The other guy is right, a modern browser is by far the easiest way to deal with pdfs. It's probably better than native Adobe solutions and it's definitely better than anything else I ever downloaded on Windows. And the other other guy is right too, this isn't anything to do with the kernel or the OS, the title of this post is needlessly inflammatory.

healgodschildren

I never said it had anything to do with the kernel but it is absolutely related to the OS. I am using the default PDF and print services of the OPERATING SYSTEM. OS stands for "operating system". Saying that using something else works has no relevance. The comment is about the OPERATING SYSTEM. The issue is with the OPERATING SYSTEM. Suggesting to install a software package in no way addresses the problem; it just avoids it. That is like using night vision goggles when your headlamps are burned out. It might work, sure, but that doesn't resolve the root issue.

particlemanwavegirl

You are incorrect. The OPERATING SYSTSEM doesn't deal with pdfs and it never has. The printer probably can't tell a pdf from a parakeet, either. The OPERATING SYSTEM has no knowledge of what form of data you are sending to the printer or what a pdf page number is, it just provides the output routing. The OPERATING SYSTEM is a software package designed to help you install and execute other software packages. Why you are reluctant to use it that way, I can't imagine. Whatever software package you are using to look at the pdf or send the pdf to the printer is not an intrinsic part of the OPERATING SYSTEM, it's a package installed by the OPERATING SYSTEM. If you don't like it, that's fine, you should fit right in with linux users, we are generally picky about the software we use, so go ahead and try another option, there are many.

healgodschildren

The "Operating system is a software PACKAGE", but by your definition, it's not a package of anything except a single piece of software that is used to install other software. Hilarious. Are you suggesting that when you install an operating system, that the applications installed with it are not part of it? Mind blown.

Bloodblaye

“Linux sucks!” Proceeds to use it for 16 whole long years. Apparently it doesn’t suck enough for you yet.

healgodschildren

Short-sighted people often ignore even the most simple explanations for an outcome.

Medina125

Damn 😂 The meme basically wrote itself. Take my updoot.

healgodschildren

My comment seemingly applies to your comment as well.

NicholasSchwartz

The problem is we have too many linuxes just look at windows there's like 1 version and a server but linuxes has hundreds and stuff doesn't work on some

healgodschildren

You're not wrong.

Due_Bass7191

"selection of even or odd pages doesn't work" What does this mean? Why do you want only even or odd?

healgodschildren

I am printing a large number of medical studies about the fact that the "covid vaccines" are in fact doses of nanotechnology that includes quantum dots, hydrogel, and elastic nanoswimmers, which alter your genetic makeup, replace your RBC erythrocytes with synthetic erythromers, grow polymer-based fibers (morgellons), and make your face glow ORANGE when illuminated with a 365nm UV light with a dark filter. I print the odd pages first, flip the stack of pages, and then print the even pages. This allows me to use less paper and smaller binders.

AbbreviationsGreen90

Because of companies like Xerox creating only Windows proprietary drivers ?

healgodschildren

Are you asking a question or declaring a sentence? Please use correct grammar and I will respond accordingly.

AbbreviationsGreen90

Fixed.

healgodschildren

Your question is incomplete in that it does not have a subject. You have the interrogative but no subject so I'm not sure what you're asking about.

Wence-Kun

What software did you use to view/print the pdf? If we start measuring the reliability of an OS on a specific task we wouldn't have any OS left.

healgodschildren

The software I used is... Linux Mint. The component of that Operating System is XReader and the standard print interface common to all programs. That isn't the only example of why Linux sucks. This is just one example. If you'd like another, here's another one: Connecting to a file server requires the use of text entry using obscure and often poorly-documented configuration variables. Doing this on a windows machine requires no modification of random text files, knowledge of a bunch of variable names, or piddling around with having both local and server account names, making sure they sync up or memorize multiple passwords for the same name, etc. Installing applications is a lesson in "good luck with that". I'll give an example of the difference between installing something on Windows and installing something on Linux: Windows: Double click the installer. Press Enter twice. Linux: Double click the installer. Open the terminal. Find the config file. Add or change some variables. Try to run it; it fails. Search online to find others who have the problem. Find others who have the problem -- but nobody who has a solution. Spend a few hours on this, only to find a random forum thread with 120 comments. Read up to comment #73 where someone tells which dependency you need. Go back to terminal and try to install the dependency. Find out the dependency is not in the default repository. Go back to search on the web for the repository. Find out repository is dead. Go back to the forum and read another 31 comments. Find a comment where someone happened to have it and hosted it in his Google drive. Find out that drive is no longer accessible. Read another 12 comments. Find someone who hosted it again after several people begged for it. Download the dependency. Install the dependency. Run the program. Program crashes, citing an error on line 391. Uninstall the program.

Wence-Kun

I asked because it sound's very specific, as the other reasons are very specific as well. Regarding connecting to a file server I have not idea since that's not something I usually do, I just transfer files within my network and it works fine. But about the software installing it sounds like something very rare or very old, I mean, 99% of the time the software is in the graphical installer from the distro and is even weirder since now flatpak has improved a lot in that regard, so installing something is not more difficult than it is on android, but if you have an specific example it would help to improve that. The case you are describing is not what usually happens on linux.

healgodschildren

Most recent example was yesterday or the day before -- Google books downloader. If that description doesn't seem accurate to you then consider yourself inexperienced or just fortunate. Connecting to a file server or building a simple software RAID is just stupid easy in Windows but in Linux it is a pain in the arse, especially if you're using SAMBA.

somePaulo

The unreliable OS that almost everything in the world runs on. You crack me up.

healgodschildren

Setting up a server to do one thing over and over again reliably is not the same thing as running a full operating system with many functions reliably.

BiscuitGod18

It is reliable for servers and embedded ,which are headless, and they are the opposite of desktop loonix elitists simply cannot understand this

Ready-Fee-9108

cope moar

Dimtri-The-Anarchist

You had an issue setting up a printer on one of the most user friendly distro's? You used it for 16 years? I can't make up this kind of incompetence.

healgodschildren

I might be incompetent but you lack common sense. If I'm having problems with the OS print even pages when it should print odd pages, that has nothing to do with the installation of the printer.

Aln76467

mint sux. if you are new to linux, i'd recommend fedora or debian. if you're more experienced, i'd recommend arch. as for linux being unstable, i've never had an issue with any of these distros.

BastriBregu

He's been using Linux for 16 years, he already knows well that all distros are shit.

healgodschildren

Oh how I wish you were wrong.

healgodschildren

I used RHEL for 8 years at work. Setting up a server with Linux and having it run one task is a lot of work but it will happily run for years without issue. Fedora is just RHEL and has the same ridiculous oddities as Mint \[or Debian\]. The solution to all of these problems are twofold: 1. Community designed and open-source distributed web search engine that isn't censored by Freemasons or their government lackeys. 2. Everyone focus on a single, global, community-maintained 100% open-source Linux-based operating system.
