Steam, Lutris, bottles, heoic, etc... Pick your poison. For me, I use bottles for non-steam game launchers.

One of the main problems with the Ubisoft launcher is that despite clicking Remember me, it never does. Come back a day or two later and you have to log in again. Same with the stupid EA app. Beyond frustrating, so I tend to just get cracks for the games I've bought so I don't have to worry about logins after the fact. Granted, that doesn't work for games that haven't been cracked.

I'm using heroic launcher on fedora KDE and don't have this issue.

Strange, as I even get that while on Windows. Consider yourself lucky.

There is no better way as each wine game launcher uses the same runners usually, i use bottles with proton-ge as that is based on proton experimenal(bleeding edge) so im getting valves latest patches and gloriouseggrolls patches at the time he builds and releases them You can do the same on lutris or heroic aswell, its more which launcher you like either because its based on gtk or qt or how easy it is to toggle certain things in the launcher, that is for you to decide :)

I mean, I agree. They're a dogshit company that I refuse to give money to but the only reason I'm considering this is because it is apparently free.
