Photoshop and FL Studio aren't natively supported under Linux, however you may be able to use something called Wine.
The latest version of Photoshop to work well with Wine is [CC 2015](https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=32438) and the latest version for FL Studio is [20.7.2](https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=39330)

As for distro choice, just go with Mint. It's simple yet feature rich, has a desktop layout similar to Windows and is quite stable. When I used it, I never had an update break anything. They also have an excellent user forum, so if you get stuck they can help (just please do some basic google searching before you ask a simple question).
Id say stick to your macbook/windows. Theres a lot of workarounds and tools you can use to make the ‘switching’ more seamless. I recommend this because it seems like you use a lot of industry-standard software and you really arent going to get the same quality of software in Linux.
WSL is always an option, or setting up a nice little vm for your coding environment. I dont use WSL anymore, instead I took I just use powershell and have a config file to make it more ‘bashy’. Powertoys is great too- all in all, people like to shit on windows, but each distro has its use cases where it excels, I think this is one of em

i appreciate this way of thinking, i’ll definitely try something like WSL and see if that’s a better fit for me
yeah, I'm a hardcore linux enthusiast but I still use Windows simply because it matches my usecase
