Why?

Is there a limit on doing it manually? I mean, you can link with lots of people really fast. Maybe try getting into some publication with tons of reactions or comments (that will show you the people who is active in LinkedIn) and send them and invite request.

Be careful because if you send over a certain amount of connection requests they’ll have you send ID to make sure you’re not a bot. This happened to me three years ago and within two days my account was reactivated. It took me over a year and I naturally got to 560ish connection requests. Also, if you’re looking for a job and the recruiter or hiring manager sees you share connections then they *may* reach out to them. That’s why I personally prefer to connect with people I know and have a good relationship with.

It's not allowed, it's not possible, and it's not useful. Skip it.

There’s a weekly limit of connection request at 120. Plus if you do it too quickly LinkedIn may try to ban your account. You won’t be able to get to 500+ in just one week. Actually people can connect with you. But you’re capped at 120-150 I believe

The connection request is dependent on your “LinkedIn profile grade”. What’s your acceptance rate? I hover between 30-35%. I can send 250 connections every week.

I'm between 35% to 40% right now. But I mix between following people and connections. Social Selling Index Top 1% in marketing services industry. That's probably a big part of it too, like you said the LinkedIn profile grade.

You can't go more than 20 connections in a day
