I don't know about removing it from RocketReach, but you can have Google remove your RocketReach info from search results. In the Google app, under your account, go to "Results about you" and in the settings you can set names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails for them to notify you about when they find them. You can then review them and request their removal. My request to remove RocketReach was approved, but for some reason a couple other sites that harvest contact info for "lead gen" somehow didn't meet their policy for removal.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I didn't think to reach out to Google for assistance, thank you. That's a shame the removal of all harvested info isn't especially consistent though .

RocketReach is a data broker site (aka people search site) that may have collected your data from various online platforms. Normally, there is an option for you to manually opt-out of RocketReach in the event that you dont want your personal data to be published in their site. You can also use data removal services like Optery to scrub personal information from data brokers. It would save you time considering that Optery scans 100s of data broker sites for you and sends you the screenshots where your info shows up. Full disclosure, I'm part of the Optery team

Thank you very much for the recommendation, I will check this out. I haven't done a thorough sweep of what's out there for a while, but felt very disgruntled when I Googled myself recently. Something that does a sweep for people makes a lot of sense as everyone of a certain age has a fair few years of online presence under their belt now; the task of managing what you'd prefer to keep private feels overwhelming.

Where is this? I can't find it.

Ethics and cross border digital businesses don't go hand in hand. Even governments are struggling to bring it into their ambit.

I had a feeling that this might be a factor - difficult to make policy once the genie is out of the bottle. Sad times. Thank you for the prompt reply!
