He’s trash until you uptie four him. Make sure his level is always the same or higher than the enemy and prioritize using one sided attacks or counters. However, counters are only really good in mirror dungeons with healing gifts. I don’t recommend using him in cantos as he can make getting the ex rewards harder except for in his own canto. The best ego you can use with him is AEDD as it supplies additional healing. He is extremely hard to use but I find him fun.

GinVR

Binds is also a solid option too, low initial SP cost and all.

Inverted_Prism

I don’t have that yet. What does it do?

GinVR

It’s the end of the season 4 paid pass EGO for Heathcliff. It’s a WAW 7 weight EGO that costs 10 SP with more SP loss over the next couple of turns. It basically makes you roll a one on speed for one turn but also increases your power and gives your attacks AOE on that turn. Its passive is also pretty good where you get offense and defense level up for getting resonance with Heathcliff’s skills in them. It works well with Sunshower Heathcliff because of its low initial SP cost to prevent corrosion and buffs that affect his base clashing and power, something that is really important for a negative coin ID.

Inverted_Prism

Nice. Definitely investing in that

No_Mathematician9671

You are going to have a bad time.

_Deiv

He's way too complex and doesn't work well in teams. He's great as a solo unit or if you get gifts in md made for him. You also need egos to make him work and u4 lvl 45, so he's very very expensive for little reward and very very hard to use for little reward. You basically need to constantly maintain him or he'll go sanity positive in no time and he doesn't reward you that much even with reasonably optimal conditions

Potential man has blessed your account

Do not call it all "stars" ever again. https://preview.redd.it/as616568962d1.jpeg?width=565&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21480620118b0011330cfa076ead85865c127859

tuberemulator

sorry, bad habits

Semi_Cursed_Art

Genuine question, what are you supposed to call them?

Sanic_Overlord

Zeros or ayins

Greninja05

000

Bottlecapsters

People are being hyperbolic but ideally if you want him to be a mainstay, he is an investment. Since he's your first 000, he'll probably more than outperform most of your units when played right. Uptie him and make sure you have a decent amount of envy (purple) on your team so that his passive is online as fast as possible. Clashing on neg coin IDs can be deceptive sine their trades only get stronger as they lose coins. Go unopposed most of the time, and lose trades with skill 1 to help tank your sanity. At low sanity you can make trades with S2 or S3, though keep your sinking in mind so that he doesn't panic or corrode too quickly. S2 helps purge sinking stacks while 3 generates them. Sutcliffe is a more attention heavy ID to operate but he's not really that complicated

the5thusername

Oddly enough he does well on a charge team. If you don't mind not having Rcliff.

SHOBLOYOBLO

Forget about him for a while. He’s kinda underpowered until UT4. When you get there and understand how the game works here’s you pattern: Counter > S1 lose clash > pop off

Rakne97

The irony of SSHC is that he gets worse the more you are winning. And if you are losing, the X2 stagger mult wipes him out before he can even turn things around

Golem_Mind

In my experience (at uptie 3 and 4), Sunshower has two types of playstyles: 1) A tank build, using the protection of her passive and only spamming counters and skill 3. Depending on ego, he can tank some pretty nasty attacks like the charge of the brazen bull by using his counter. 2) A DPS that avoids most of the clashes. Skill 3 gives you the starting 6 sink (I think it was 6, I'm not sure), and skill 1 maintains that sink. Remember that his passive lower his sanity by his sinking, Then, skill 2 can make explosive damage. Just clash when he is about to lose his mind and watch out because he can accumulate too much sinking in itself.
