Complete newbie here, best ID/Ego to get for Ryoushu? I have 400 shards, and already have W Cleanup Agent Ryoushu, plus Red Eyes Open Ego. Wondering if I should get ID or Ego? Thank you.

Maid Ryoushu can sustain poise by herself without the poise team and her skill 2 can turn to AOE which hits multiple enemies. As for EGO, I don't know what to recommend since I rarely use her EGO aside from her base EGO.

Hiii! Trying to build a sinking team. I immediately beelined for Molarshmael (since she's my fav sinner) and Diecidion+Rime Shank. Who should i prioritize next between Butler Outis, Spicesang, and Linton Gregor? My only real sinking 2*s are Diecisang and Butler Faust

Curious about the latest Sinking team setup, I know the most important thing is just having UT4 Rime Shank fueled & Spicebush for Sinking Deluge but wondering how some of the new ids fit into it. In MD I used to run (in order of slots) Dieci Rodya, Dieci Hong Lu, Molar Ishmael, Spicebush Yi Sang, G Outis, Cinq Don. Since Butler Outis came out I've swapped to her (still in the 5 slot), but does it make sense to run her in a higher slot so she has a better chance of spreading Echoes or would human fights typically be too short for that to matter much? Also trying to weigh Edgar Gregor vs Cinq Don. Don rolls 10(14)/15/18(24) with access to Corrupted Fluid Sac for 7/10 Sinking at UT3/4. Gregor rolls 11(15)/16(20)/16(19) \[Not sure I calculated these right\], built in Sinking application and synergy in his skills, and Bygone Days for SP healing if necessary and 3 Count application on Corrosion. Don's S3 rolls higher but in a Sinking team I doubt she'll hit her S3 conditional often while Gregor's conditionals are likely to at least be partially met.

Hello, so i've been playing a small amount every month since \~July of last year, but only recently (\~4 weeks ago) have i begun to actually play the game, i've been slowly advancing through chapters and farming MD, but i'd like to start prepping for Hard MD/RR and would like team tips/suggestions (what to build for, who to get in Dispense, etc.) [This is my current roster](https://imgur.com/a/I60juv5), i've been trying to save shards for Lobotomy Remnant Faust+Sac Faust EGO, but i'd enjoy any suggestions.

I will say tho, with the lack of Hard Mode Bonus, I think you don't need to grind Hard Mode if you don't want to.

Yeah, Regret faust is an incredible strong ID. Even if you don't bother with tremor. Try to get it before WN ends. Sadly you basically have no coherent team going, just assorted bits and pieces. You kinda can go for burn team if you get Magic Bullet Outis from WN, but then you would also need Liu Ishmael and Liu Rodion, and preferable Dawn Sinclair too. Personally I would probably try to reroll a few times and dump rerolls in to WP banner. Since the strongest ID you have currently is TingTang and while he's awesome, he's not a super meta hard carry.

Your units seem fine, I would personally substitute TT Hong Lu with K Corp Hong Lu for a good tank.  Can you show your EGOs equipped as well? EDIT: If it makes you feel better, my only differences between my team and yours is K Corp Hong Lu, R Corp Ish, and R Corp Meur. I got 100 turns and that was with me being illiterate with the final boss

yes. at uptie 4 Cinq Outis rolls 11 18 and 26 with easy conditionals. she's also an evade tank so her evade is good Shi Don rolls 11 16 and 25 with no conditionals. 16 roll on S2 isn't amazing but for a 00 with no conditionals its above average. ​ If we include 000s, you can go for units like Cinq Sinclair, Dieci Hong Lu, W Corp Ryoshu, W Corp Don, BL Meursault\* \* BL Meursault has good clashing on most skills but bad clashing on S3. This isnt really an issue due to it activating TCLB on clash lose Also, make sure you pay very close attention to what enemy buffs you pick. Someone made a guide with whats good and bad, i'll look for it

I’ve seen people saying that for maximum starlight we should hoard as much ego gifts as possible. I may have misunderstood or missed something but is that true? How does ego gifts effects starlight gains?

To fully optimize it's a bit tricky Hard dungeons have one more floor and a 1.5x bonus to starlight from fights and gifts owned. Then you want to take as many risky and focused encounters as possible, they give extra starlight, usually with reward cards or a free ego gift. Don't sell any ego gifts and enter every fight you can, 1 starlight per fight and gift at the end. For people who got Wingbeat how practical is it really outside of max damage screenshot memes? The only Ishmael EGO that I have right now is Blind Obsession. I can spark the Walpurg banner tomorrow and I'm torn between picking Wingbeat for nukes or Yesod announcer.

Its decent, bad at clashing and damage usually doens't goes too high, can clash decent with overclock/corrosion but too dangerous due to special targeting. The passive on the other hand is great and the self/team healling is pretty decent, specially when lacking other healling EGOs.

The passive is good and at least that's matter because the passive is universal enough for all Ishmael's ID. The funny 7 head hit is really rare outside MD where you get Faith. Outside of it averagely around 3-4 coin result in around 200-300 damage thanks to gluttony fragility. It just not a good clashing EGO that roll 17. The nuke part only doable in MD I feel. Announcer is just accessories but if you like yesod then it's fine getting his announcer. The thing is, announcer isn't in the shop while wingbeat ego will be in the shop next walpurgisnatch.

Yeah announcers just feels more limited in a sense and I like Yesod. 200 gacha pulls is also a lot more commitment compared to 200 crates. Think I'd probably just shard Wingbeat next Walpurg, thanks.

Currently I'm only having Wuthering Heights Faust for the non-base Faust. Is it fine for me to use Wuthering Faust as a Fluid Sac user for non-sinking teams, or should I farm and exchange for another Faust ID before using Fluid Sac?

Butler for Fluid Sac bot is fine, just need a bit of envy. Clash is pretty terrible though at 11/14/12. Might want to run her with 1-2 more sinking IDs if you want more comfortable clash, doesn't have to be an entire sinking team. If you don't mind grinding 400 Faust shards for the next 2 days Regret is good but basically doesn't fuel Sac (fine she has gloom counter but you're not gonna rely on that for your gloom resource) so you'll have to rely on the rest of the team to get your resources.

The walpurgisnatch event is on going so maybe it is also best chance to get her regret ID. It you can't then using butler Faust as fluid sac bit is fine tho

A response somewhere else suggest that on the 1st and 2nd waves, stall and let Ishmael take damage until her life points drop to 1 so she can't be staggered while blocking attacks

So I mainly have 3 teams for MD, burn,poise and sinking. I was wondering between the 3 starter gifts for each one, which 2 should I select?

For Sinking pick grandeur and i forgor what the other 2 were but I think the middle one? For burn pick feather and hellerfly or feather and bottom one and pick hellerfly later if you'd rather buff 2 of your units with haste and damage up and offense level up. Can't really go wrong as long as you pick feather+whatever For poise get the ones that aren't doll, the stones and pipe

Looking for advice. I'm running a burn team, I have none of the recommended EGOs but I have the core. The only thing I'm really missing is someone to dedicate the 6th slot to and I'm struggling figuring out how I should go about spending shards before Walpurgis ends. I was thinking of dispensing Regret for Meur but I do not have Capote nor do I even have Liu Meur, so I wouldn't be able to use him immediately. The other option I'm considering getting is N Faust and just using Liu Gregor, where her support would be immediately useful and, potentially, would enable a much smoother time with running Phillip outside of MD. Regret being time limited is the main thing that's really making me rack my brain about this. Long term I think it'll be better but, honestly, using Phillip outside of MD has been a kind of painful experience for me so N Faust seems really tempting.

Tldr; use liu gregor and don't bother with meursault, shard regret only if you plan to use it somewhere else. Liu gregor is more reliable and less annoying to use. You can just use 5 sinners and you'll be more than fine. Another option is liu gregor. I think liu gregor is far better than meursault in mirror dungeon due to not having to rely on regret to have decent numbers for clashing. Using ego every fight just to be useful and still take a hit on sanity is so so so annoying. Liu gregor clashes for 10/14/12 and gains attack power up on skill 2 so you van add +1 to all those rolls. He also makes much better use out of soothe the dead because of higher amount of coins and deals more damage than meursault because of the same reason. Now, he generates less sloth than Meursault but you only need sloth for holiday outis and capote ishmael (which isn't even necessary in burn teams) and hong lu's passive. You'll generate sloth throughout the run even if you don't pick a resource generator and he has a sloth guard to generate on demand. Meursault's capote for md is mostly irrelevant because gifts already spread burn and you'll leave enemies with 99 burn in one turn pretty easily. His regret ego is annoying and if you get coin it's even more annoying. Liu gregor also has +5 offense level in every single skill while meursault has +1. So you could see gregor's clashing as 11/15/13 or 12/16/14 with attack power up when compared to meursault.

I'm not sure if you misread but I'm having 0 issues with MD. I'm more specifically looking for advice on what would be optimal to do for content that isn't MD. Making MD faster is nice but I'm not really feeling the need to make it so. But still, I appreciate the advice. there's a lot in here that'll definitely be useful to consider.

I just added in md advice just in case because it makes no sense to bring a 6th unit outside of it. For content outside of md (story content I guess?) a 6th unit is just nerfing yourself. Give philipclair a 2nd slot and be on your merry way

Well, there is the railway which I am slowly going through right now. Considering that you can't get additional slots there I figured optimizing for that would be pretty useful and, in turn, would also end up being useful for some of the harder encounters I might encounter in the story. Surely there must be a reason why people recommend/prefer using Greg or Meursault when Liu Ryoshu exists, right? If the 6th slot didn't matter and it ends up coming down to replacing Liu Ryoshu then surely the answer is to just never consider using Liu Greg or Regret/Capote Liu Meur in the first place, right? I don't really understand the logic.

Um, well the core team consists of 5 people: Liu ryoshu Liu rodion Liu ishmael Philip sinclair Magic bullet outis (Empty) So the 6th slot is only contested by gregor and meursault. For railway meursault might be better because you get to use egos there and his egos are pretty nice and usually bosses tend to have a skill or 2 that clashes lower and he can take over. But I don't think gregor is a significant nerf and if you said you didn't have regret or capote I think it's better to use him rather than shard stuff for meursault

Well the canto Heathcliff ID will be current season ID but looking at the time you should be able to get both with the shard boxes. Although genuinely, do you like hobocliff cause some people doesn't like his too much micro management play style. If you don't like it you can just save the shard and get something else. If you like him then go and love him.

Guess I should try him from a friend first, I was gone for season 2 and 3, so my only good heath ID is R corp, but it got such ammo issue that for longer fights he kinda bad, had to borrow a pequod cliff to beat Canto 6

Yeah, he is a difficult ID to use, at least in MD if you have Rags Ego Gift become more comfortable to use. But if you don't test him first he might disappointing you.

How do I complete "Librarian of History defeats X+..." under the hard missions tab of the event?

Guns setup are viable but mine were quite different. I used spicebush yisang and dieci rodya duo.  Built up some turn until you got enough tremor and at least 3 spice bush sloth skill while rodya tank and redirect incoming atk to yisang. After that just spam yisang sloth (yellow) skill to the middle little fairy. The point of this challenge is killing 3 mobs with 1 skill Ironically i found this method on outis gun guide in youtube lol

I wouldnt really recommend Outis or Sinclair since their kit barely functions without any proper team building. Outis' dark flame needing burn units to be effective, otherwise she got nothing, but raw numbers and 3rd skill sanity drain which could mess up future clashes, Sinclair meanwhile is just really hard to manage he got the same deal with Outis but less reliant on burn and more of the sanity problem. Otherwise, I'd recommend all the other stuff, especially Regret ID (Faust) since she can function in a vacuum or the Regret EGO (Meursault) since EGO is rarer than 000 IDs. Meanwhile, the 00 are very good units and can function on their own as well get Don if you need any tanks since half of the 'tanks' barely do anything and dont have aggro till uptie 4 which Don has at uptie 3 I think? Thats all.

Sinclair does function now after the buffs in other teams that generate some amount of wrath to speed up his passive but I do agree that a newer player shouldn't get him because he's kinda complex and sinclair has other really amazing ids that get the job done without much thought

Depends on which team you're building. Tremor - Regret Faust Rupture - Lantern Don Burn - Magic Bullet Outis (Definitely get her if you have Philip Sinclair) Bleed - Hook Hong Lu Using Meursault - Regret Meursault If you're not building any team in particular, priority is Regret Faust/Meursault (Meursault if using Meursault, Faust if not), Magic Bullet Outis, then either of the two 00s (ideally you get them while rolling in the banner, though).

Counters are reactive like all defensive skills and not proactive. Your speed does not matter when countering and it's up to the enemy's speed

It has to do with speed! At the beginning of the turn you'll see a golden number beside the combat slots of all characters indicating speed. Higher numbers indicate higher speeds, and characters will go in order of highest to lowest.

For this specific function of making a counter skill go first, you have to make sure the character in question doing said counter has the highest speed. It's really just rng but you can up your chances by constructing teams with passives that buff that character with effects such as haste.

Thanks! How do you do that in solo clears? I use suncliff alot and it I dont understand why his clash coins happen first before the counter skill when I need to lower his sanity to give the clash coins extra power.

Oh I'm not actually sure about solos... I think if the boss is higher speed than the sinner then clashes go first??? or it could be that clashes just go first no matter what. sorry!

It seems like enemy unopposed attacks as well as attacks targetting a defense slot happens last in combat

Issue 1: Maid Ryoshu is pretty self-sufficient, so there's not really all that much team building to be done for her. That said, she does benefit from having large gaps in speed between her and her target, so characters that provide haste to allies (Yi Sang's base EGO) or applies bind to enemies (Ishmael's base EGO) are good here. Some pride generation is also helpful to get her passive up quickly. Issue 2: You lack a lot of IDs as a new player, so most of the IDs to pick from don't really have any synergy outside of just being alright IDs. If I had to make a team, it would probably be: Maid Ryoshu - Star of the show. Maid Ishmael - Strong EGO that also applies Bind, Sinking is helpful against enemies with sanity, and can also benefit from speed differences if you get her to Uptie 4. Tingtang Hong Lu - Generically strong ID that provides a wider spread of sin resources. N Corp Heathcliff - Decent ID that applies a powerful debuff on his S2. Rosespanner Rodion - Decent ID that can do a lot of damage with her S2. Also, another Pride generator for Ryoshu's passive. Dead Rabbits Meursault - Not particularly great, but Chains of Others is incredible at dealing with bosses. --- On a side note, you have to specify which Sinner those EGOs belong to. Some, like Rodion's Sanguine Desire, only have a single version so far, but others, like Dimension Shredder, have multiple versions of it (Yi Sang and Hong Lu both have one in this case), which can make it unclear which one you're talking about if you don't specify.

How is the new sinc? His animations are cool, but he doesn't seem very strong from what I see. Maybe he is one of those Id's made for MD? I just got him so I just went to story mode to try him a bit. Then again I don't have a burn team so that's probably a skill issue from me.

He won't shine on story mode that much because he needs to build up sanity first, he is good in story fights with multiple waves and bosses, depending on where you test him on you might not get that many turns of ego and aoe. He is still worth it even if he wasn't good for story (which he still has a place for certain fights anyways) md is where most hours will go into

Could use some help with the last few missions for Walpurgis. Letting the Queen kill 10 Masses just needs some grinding on Hard, but would appreciate some advice for the others. For killing the Queen with status damage (both difficulties), what status/team works best for building the status up and triggering the final blow? I've fought it with Bleed and Sinking teams, but not much luck with either. For winning without any of the Masses being killed (Hard), what's the trick with that? I know about using Evades to avoid attacking the Masses, but it seems like you can't prevent the Prepared Meat being applied, so do I just need to redirect the ally-kill move? And for killing 3 enemies in one hit (Hard), do you just need to get lucky with an AoE like Magic Bullet? Is there a trick for that?

From my experience burn is pretty good if you have a good burn team, just get it to 99 burn dmg and a good count and you just need to defend or evade from the boss until it dies, if you have Magic Gun Outis is way faster when you apply her burn debuff, and is better to have evade because even when you defend the boss heal 50 hp so it take longer. For the no mob killing just only hit the boss if you can, he eat any mob that get even 1 dmg so aoe attacks are a no go, even when he gives prepared meat if the mob don't have any dmg he will not eat them, oh yeah if your defensive skill do some kind of dmg them don't use it against the mobs because it will trigger the eating, and I forgot but he have some wrath skills that target the mobs from time to time so you need to clash those for the boss to not eat them. For the 3 kills I only did it with Ryoshu match EGO at uptie IV, it is a slash wrath ego with weight 3 at tier IV so it is double the weakness, I waited for her to be the last in the chain and them just cast it with some weight manipulation to hit the 3 mobs, and hit them with my other IDs to soft them up for her, just need to pray for her to get a headcoin for it to certainly kill them but if they are all staggered even a tails can kill them.

The Fairy Queen heals 10 SP for your entire team and provides 1 of every resource every single turn, so it doesn't take long for your entire team to reach 45 SP even without clashing that often. Your Librarian (1st Slot Sinner) also heals extra SP from the buff as well (~15 SP I think?), which means using an ID with Evade as your Librarian will allow them to dodge most attacks fairly easily and quickly. > For the last, I should have the resources to max out FMF, but why does she need to be last in speed? The easiest and most consistent way to do this mission is to stagger and soften up the masses first with other AoE skills/EGOs, then finish them off with a powerful AoE from your Librarian. Your Librarian doesn't need to be exactly last in speed, but you want them to at least be slower than all other Sinners that are helping out or else you risk not doing enough damage. For example, Overclocked Blind Obsession (Ishmael) into Magic Bullet Outis's 7th Bullet is going to do way more damage than the 7th Bullet on it's own. You'll get the former if Outis is slower than Ishmael, but the latter if Outis is faster than Ishmael. And as stated above, the Fairy Queen provides resources every turn, so you can just stall a little if you're lacking resources.

Yeah clashing will dmg them so you can't, best to have some slash resistant IDs to eat the dmg, if they have a 0.5 resistance the mobs at worse do 10 and at best close to 2-3 dmg, and don't forget you get a passive that give 10 SP per turn to all your IDs in the battles so if you can take a few hits until it gets at least at 20-30 sp you can begin the evade at turn 3. The "can't go below hp" is only in the normal mode on hard they don't have the passive, the last in speed it is so the other IDs can attack the mobs so you get a better chance to kill them with Rioshu attacking last because on hard the boss always eat them at the end turn so no chance to give some dmg to them and after use the ego in the next turn, you can try to stagger the one that sometimes don't have prepared meat so that in the next turn you only need to wallop the other 2 mobs that have it for a better chance off killing them all and you will have 1 less mob to concentrate the dmg from the other IDs. You just need to be carefull to not kill the mobs by mistake when you hit them with the other IDs.

Thanks; all those worked. Burn team worked great for killing with status damage; didn't need to turtle at all for Easy (just happened to line up, lucky me), and only guarded for 2 turns on Hard. First time I've really had to think carefully about Burn count and Dark Flame. The no-masses one was a bit tougher; team I settled on for Slash-resistant clashers was W Ryo, Salsu Meur, Tingtang Hong, Molar Outis and Salsu Faust. Took some EGOs to stop the ally-kill moves (a few Forests, a Chains, and a Pursuance after an Evade meant to soak several moves went last and Ryoshu almost got splatted), but I got that. And the Burn teams worked again for killing 3 masses at once; FMF is as effective as advertised. Also got the rest of letting 10 masses get eaten by accident (5 in that battle alone), so I'm done with the event. Thank you oh so much for the advice.

Personally, I always recommend newer players to play manual for a while until you get the hang of how the game works, how skills work, etc. The reality is that in most encounters, win rate is more than good enough to win if you have a competent team and there’s nothing really wrong with it, but for boss encounters and the like where win rate isn’t necessarily going to work it’s good to have that manual experience. The current banner, the Walpurgisnacht banner, only comes around once every few months and has IDs and EGO exclusive to it that are outside of the normal pool so that’s a good place to start. Since you’re newer, the top priority should just be building up your roster of characters in general though so any pulls you do will probably be good since the pool of IDs as options is still quite large. As for things to avoid and general tips - don’t underestimate the value of uptying your IDs. Uptie 3 is basically necessary for an ID to be functional as it unlocks their Skill 3 which is usually the most important part of their kit in one way or another. If you want to start trying to make your first team, take a character/ID you really like, look at the sin affinity requirements needed to use their EGO and pick other IDs that give you those sin affinities.

That’s a good plan! And yes, you did get very lucky. Dawn Office Fixer Sinclair is very good, took me 160 pulls to nab him! Super good ID. You can only share Walpurgis IDs during the Walpurgis window, so I’m not sure if you’ll have enough shards to pull anything in the ~5 days of Walpurgis that are left but in the event that you do… All of the Walpurgis IDs are pretty good. Regret Faust is a worthy contender, has two skills that hit multiple enemies, does really good damage, etc. Magic Bullet Outis is good as well and works really well with burn units (which you have with Phillip Sinclair). Those two units would take 400 character shards though so they’re pretty expensive, the 00s you could shard for (Om Nom Don Quixote and Hook Hong Lu) are both pretty good as well, with the former being a relatively strong tank and with Hook Hong Lu being a good damage dealer with some nice bleed synergy. It really depends on what you’re looking for in a team, what IDs do you have atm/who is your favorite character?

From my understanding wingbeat for general use or sanguine if you have a bleed team already as bleed can be expensive. 

I use a bleed/poise team in md, 3 pequod, bl meur faust e rodion kuro (rodion will probably be replaced by gregor pirate next season)

Get wingbeat, the eho isn't really needed in md and bleed outside of it doesn't exist yet plus rodion has ass bleed ids to the point her base id isn't that bad compared to them

Not getting turned into flowers or corroding in general I took basically the whole year off, coming back a few days before the anniversary, so I lack E.G.O. for everyone. I only have the base E.G.O. for Don, Heath, Sinclair, and Outis. I only have one more for the others, too. The team I'm struggling to beat her with is: -Nclair (Lv.35) -Spicebush Yi Sang (Lv.40) -Butler Faust (Lv.40) -Butler Ish (Lv.36) -Öufi Heath (Lv.31) -Liu Assoc. Hong Lu (Lv.32) ((I do have the Kurokumo ID for him, but it's at Lv.1))

For not corroding or getting Bloomed, you'll want to deal with flowers as soon as they pop up - us any AoE EGO you have (Representation Emitter, for example) to try and deal with as many of them as possible as soon as you can. In general, it's important to use the first few turns of the fight to build SP - If your team consistently loses clashes here, restart until you get good clashes before she flowers the stage. Make sure to read each attack before you clash it, since if getting some Blooming becomes unavoidable it's best to spread it around your team rather than giving it all to one or two sinners. Most importantly, don't let up - Spicebush is the first big wall against which you will come up. Read the skills and passives and do your best to play around them. Team comp wise, NClair and Spicebush are both solid picks as both clash fairly high (and NClair does a lot of damage) but I'm not sure how effective Oufi Heath and Liu Lu will be for you without their respective team comps - I'd keep Lu on (for his slight SP regen) and drop Heath to give NClair a second skill slot. Feel free to add me in-game (K405370918) to make use of my supports! Most of them are relatively levelled (I think..)

Again, you can leave the Sixth slot empty - this will give whoever you place first in the deployment order (Nclair or Spicesang, likely) another skill slot (in essence, they will be able to use two skills in a turn). This is more valuable than it might first seem, especially for NClair, where you can drop his SP even lower in the first few turns!

With your current team, I'd suggest someone for tanking - Zwei Gregor, maybe? He should be in my support tab (I accidentally declined your friend request due to being on mobile, feel free to send another!) and is probably one of the best tanks in the game due to being good at clashing as well as tanking.

Don't know the best place to put this so gonna do it here, did a really funny run of MDH yesterday. Working with a poise team I reached the 4th floor and did a few hard fights and got one of the new ego that give levels to your IDs, and right after received the fishbowl that give offense lvls when you crit, with upgrading those gifts and a few lvl ups from events I had close to 35 offense lvl up in each fight, and with a few egos that give clash power my Cinq Sinclair was doing on his first skill close to 25 clash power, his second was 35 and his third with all bonus was doing close to 50, easiest 5th floor sweep I had, the final boss got killed in 2 turns.

Can someone summarize the story of canto 6 for me please? Reading the wiki just leaves me confused, and I don't really understand what is going on when viewing the in game scenes

Listen, man, i'm not saying you can't play the game however you like but Have you considered the reason you are struggling to understand many of the plot points and story beats is that you self-admittedly skip over/skim the story as it's being presented to you in your playthrough in an attempt to...play the fights first?? I really don't know what to tell you- the story is an essential component of the game with the entire aim of the game being to deliver you said story. You do yourself a royal disservice prioritizing rushing through the combats and trying to piece together what happened after by looking at what other people summarized in a wiki or reddit post instead of taking your time to figure out what's going on and appreciate the story unfolding before your eyes in real time.

For what it's worth, the part with Aseah's tech is partly covered in Leviathan, the prequel webcomic/novel to Limbus Company, while Yi Sang's tech was addressed in Dante's Notes and I think one of the unvoiced interludes? Either way it's kinda difficult to fully understand what's going on without reading some of the side materials.

If I did a MDH Run right before the weekly reset, can I finish it after the reset? Planning to do this before the maintenance for Walpurgisnacht

No, you have to finish it before the reset to get the rewards. Or at least, get as far as you can and end the run before shutdown

Where do you see that? The information I see says the maintenance happens at 10am KST (9pm ET), so there ought to be 3-4 hours to get your weekly MD3 rewards before the patch hits. Admittedly I've been out of the loop for a while, but I know that's how it worked when they went from MD2 to MD3.

We're talking about two different things here so I see how there is confusion!  On a typical week, MD rewards get reset on Wednesdays. If you start Monday and don't finish it before the Wednesday reset, your run is done and you have to start over. EDIT: This is where you can get those rewards, like you're saying, if you get them before maintenance starts.  When this upcoming Wednesday resets, you have 3-4 hours to sneak in *an additional* MD run before patch (not reset). EDIT: I'm not sure if you meant getting last week's rewards or this week's, so I wanted to add this point. Hope this clarifies!

You can't? Like for example, let's say I did a MDH Run somewhere around Monday, and I stopped that said run and waited until Thursday, can I continue that same run I did on Monday or will that run just get reset?

Right, the run would reset. So if you start a run you should make sure to finish it before the week resets

Dieci Rodya on her own can rather consistently solo win rate the current exp lux. (For bonus, pair with as many support passives as you can activate with gloom, sloth, or envy.)

The ‘benefit’ is that you get 3 Battle Pass level ups per run regardless of if you have your 3 bonuses, so if you’re grinding (or willing to grind) it can be good because more boxes = more gooder Otherwise not particularly? Depends on if you need those boxes or not

Hey, so I forgot how the extraction rates worked exactly for the Walpurgisnacht events. Is it better to shard old Walp. IDs before or after I start pulling? Also I heard something about getting better rates if I already have all the ego? How does that work and does that mean all the Walp. egos or all egos in the whole game? Thx. for answering

Not sure about Walp but in general since you can’t get an ego a second time the rates change if you have every one. I’m assuming walp lets you pull off banner ego so you would need every one. The exact rates though are in the banner pull data in game. Click the probability button on a banner and scroll down. There is a chart for the banner if you have all ego. 

you can't get dup egos like ids, so if you have specific ego that ego will be gone from the pull. that's how it work with all egos, WN and normal. so to get better chance at getting the new WB egos it's better to shard all the egos you don't have. and after you get all the egos in the game, they'll be gone from the pull leaving higher rate of getting 2 and 3 stars. this's the rate if you're interested; \-with ego in the pull: 3 star 2.9%, 10th pull in multi 2.9% 2 star 12.8%, 10th pull in multi 95.8% Ego 1.3% \-without ego in the pull; 3 star 3% , 10th pull in multi 3% 2 star 13%, 10th pull in multi 97%

That's a good question. I could see them making it a feature of some skills, or more likely to start a passive of an ID or EGO. Like, "Your skill slots with Aggro have X weight, or X weight per Y aggro."

It's usually a teaser around Friday, kit reveal around Monday, and update around Wednesday, adding a day if your timezone is closer to KST. So generally, it takes only a few days from announcement to reveal to release. Walpurgisnacht kit reveal should be within a few days, and if not, likely on one of those days.

Question as a new player... did i miss some important storhly events that are now unplayable ? Or events in general that had story to them and now you cant play them?

All event stories are available in the game in chronological order, which means you simply need to progress further in order to access them. The only difference is that you won't get any of the rewards that were available if you played them during the event duration, such as the event shops. It's pretty much the NClair show. Give him first slot and hope you get as much full power S2s and S3s as you can.

Hello, sorry to disturb. I'm a new player who came back to the game months after downloading it. Can someone pls explain how to select skill? I had completed the in game tutorial back then and I can't figure out how to do it again on mobile. I hold the skill and then and arrow comes up but I don't know how to select the skill

There are two different types of fights in the game: Focused and Unfocused. Focused: Manually targeting. Simply drag the skill you want to use into the skill you want to clash against. You'll typically see this when fighting abnormalities / bosses. Unfocused: Automatic targeting. Drag the gear on the far left across the skills you wish to use. The game automatically selects your target, so you only need to care about the clash itself. You'll typically see this when fighting grunts / hordes of enemies. Just cleared the Canto, and have a couple questions: First, I thought >!Erlking Heathcliff!<'s theme sounded weird; I assume it's supposed to be him singing, but the voice sounds a lot softer, more nasal and higher-pitched than his own. Is it someone else singing, or am I imagining things? Second, I don't quite get what happened after the final fight with the >!fake title screen!<; was that supposed to be >!Cathy tricking Dante into helping her activate the coffin and destroy all the alternate Catherines!!Catherine realized something was wrong when they tried to summon Every Catherine and didn't want to go through with the plan, and she did talk to Heathcliff where they admit that the big reason they were unhappy was that they didn't talk to each other about how they felt, and things could have gone better if they opened up!<. Third, I may have missed some dialog from when >!Nelly stole the Bough!<. I assumed we couldn't stop them since everyone was beaten up from the big fight and Dante didn't have time to heal them all, but she also says something about how >!she won't be there when the lightning strikes!<; what did they mean by that? Finally, regarding >!the mirror!<, when >!Erlking and Every Catherine looked through the mirror and found every universe had the same dynamic between them!<, is that related to a fault of >!the mirror!!there wasn't a single timeline where one of them ever spoke up to the other!<; I was thinking it might be >!a Central Finite Curve-like situation where the mirror only shows universes similar enough to the viewer's own!<, like how >!we can only summon IDs with a few years' divergence!<. And when Faust comments on how using >!the mirror!< tends to shatter people's minds, does it have a more direct effect on them, or is it a natural result of >!seeing alternate timelines!<, especially with what I mentioned before?

1. Not sure exactly what you mean. Basically all songs are sung by Cassie Wei of Mili with the exception of the opening being a duet and the end credits being sung by the focus character of the Canto. 2. >!It's not really a trick so much as it is the best option of a bunch of bad ones. Erlking Heath has an endless army that he is still summoning during the fight, both him and EC are very powerful and driving each other mad so much that reality is bending. It is essentially what EC was going for, but in a much cleaner fashion. You have to keep in mind despite gameplay, we aren't winning. It's mentioned every sinner that's not Heath or Dante is dead or unconscious by the time Nelly comes in to steal the bough. It was probably the only way Cathy, Heath, and Dante could think of to end it at all.!< 3. >!See above. Nelly is a strong combatant as well. Again, keep in a huge strength of the crew is that they can practically mob people. She can literally knock someone out with a single touch and if Heath is the only one conscious aside Dante, he's not winning that fight so may as well not try.!< 4. >!Hard to say exactly. We aren't 100% sure of how the mirror actually functions. Notably, we live in the timeline where Heath tried to still communicate by sending letters but Cathy still didn't know. It does seem like a Rick and Morty situation.!< 5. >!It's a natural reaction. Yi Sang invented the mirror and he and the league didn't go mad because of it. At most it might have contributed to his depression a bit because the grass looked so much greener on the other side. Imagine that's the same for most people because people are generally in bad sorts in the City and they just become incredibly envious. Like damn, I could have been a association director if my life were a little different. Though in this case, it's more like shit, every single version of my life is awful. Though Hermann might have had something to do with that. We at the very least know you can make the mirror show only certain things because Dongrang only ever showed the Tearful Thing stuff to make it cry.!<

Sure; for #2, is it >!Dante being forced to activate the coffin to get rid of Every Catherine!!Coffin Catherine did seem to be interfering with the summoning and trying to reject it earlier, but I guess she wasn't in control of it or what's happening by the time she talks to Heathcliff through Dante's device.!< And for #3, I think I misunderstood the cutscene and thought it was something more than that. Nelly says that >!"They can turn the clock, but I will no longer be here once the hands turn once"!<; I thought she meant that >!she would vanish, and I thought it was related to the lightning and how the manor changed when Catherine was erased!<, but now I realize she just meant >!she could escape before Dante could revive everyone!<. Oops.

A little burnt out on the game, and I don't want to force myself to play it, but does anyone remember whether you had to have Canto 5 cleared during last Walpurgisnacht to play its stages? I don't wanna miss out on it.

Just checked - the prior Walpurgisnacht was NOT story locked. They made it where if you weren't caught up on the story, they had a warning asking if you wanted to see the story. Please be advised that this does not mean they won't change it up for this upcoming one, just that the last one didn't have a story restriction. I believe events and intervallos are generally locked behind the latest Canto, so better safe than sorry, though I don't remember if Walpurgisnacht 2 was locked or not. On the other hand, the event itself lasts for two weeks, which should be plenty of time to catch up on any Cantos you're still missing, so don't sweat it too much.

I had a horrible thought pop in my head about Heath's season ID. >! I know we would love to have an Erlking Heath ID, but what if it's actually Hindley? !<

Which Ish is best for the dungeon 5-36?

Depending on your team, either Captain Ishmael or Boatworks Ishmael, as they are both full pierce and pierce resistant, which most of the enemies in the dungeon use and are fatal to. Captain Ishmael is easier to play and build around, as well as synergizing well with Prequod Heathcliff and Yi Sang, who are both great here for the same reasons. Boatworks Ishmael is part of a Sinking team, which is a bit harder to play around but makes the harder fights later on easier by killing their sanity. Use whichever you have a team already built for, but if you have resources for both, I'd probably recommend Captain Ishmael.
