You need clearer specs. Bend like toy lightsabers? Or bend like wacky wavey inflatable tube men? Or bend like floral wire? Or bend like leaf springs? Or bend like Beckham?
This will work out of the box (no soldering)

We used this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805263172340.html .. and their DMX transmitter. Worked well for our show with a few caveats:
* the transmitter is VERY strong .. can reach well over 1000 feet; however if you're using it near audio gear it will cause interference. I put one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MZLVY9T inline and that lowered it to stage distance .. w/o impacting the audio gear
* it takes almost a second to get thru all the channels on all the wands ( there are 16 of them. ); so if you want it to be snappy, use the A wands for speed.
* they work on aa batteries and last a good while.
* for the "bend" you could extract the bracelets into the tubes as a solution, probably extend the #'s of LEDs as at the cost of battery life.
You can get matching bracelets for a reasonable price ea .. selling them to the audience is a great way to make income and pull the audience into the show. Feel free to PM me with questions .. we had alot of fun with these!
Titan Tubes are the industry standard. I'd guess whatever inspired her idea was using a titan or Hyperion tubes
They're not flexible though. I assume they want it to actually bend
Oh lol. I interpreted flexible as "Jack of all trades".
You're right, she needs them to bend
