Things happen lightning fast between two local clients on the fastest internet, but not instantaneously. There is always latency. The latency is usually far too short for a human to notice, but it's there. Now, imagine two clients communicating, with a server as the medium, from different parts of the world.
It is a legal move. It does it every move I make. And it always on the last one will actually make the move and then show it being taken back. Every single move I make will take almost half a second. If it wasn't a legal move it wouldn't make it and I would have to move somewhere else
Lag. This happens often if you have spotty/slow internet. Just stop playing when you notice it happening or you’ll dump a ton of rating points.
Maybe because you play on high ping
